Please, those who were born between 1979 upwards should keep quite because those who were there in the Kaunda regime, knows very well about these two elders. Yes! am one of those who can bear witness that these michembelez fought hard during that time for Kaunda to have firm in Kabwe because they worked very close with Mama Chikamoneka. Please they deserve a honour. Musonda do your work dont listen to those who are just barking from without.

something trully needs to be done other countries never forget their heroes. Americans constantly make reference to the founding fathers and take pride in telling history, we have arguebly just as rich a history if not richer but we are allowing our heroes to be neglected while claimers roam free.

Why is it that the freedom fighters are being negleted?My grand mother too was a freedom fighter who told me came from lubwa mission that they were 12 in number when they came here in town of chingola.she died in 2005 at the age of 113.l believed everything she told me that some of her friendz ar in central and luapula province.Ba government mubaposeko amano abantu aba.

I live in Kabwe and I personally know these people and are alive and there story is true beyond reasonable doubt. If there is anything you can do Musonda do it knowing you are serving heroes.

How did you Ba tumfweko prove beyond a shadow of doubt that they are who they are? It sounds like you just took they’re word for it, have you crossed checked this with archive government documents or even reached out to the people they claim to know to really confirm. I’m not saying they are lying but it’s not uncommon for people to make claims about who they are. I confronted a guy claiming to be the grandson of Kapwepwe not knowing that I attended nchanga trust school with Kapwepwe’s granddaughter who (unlike the claimer)is directly related, her father is kapwepwe’s 4th born child. he later sheepishly admitted his lies. Now if one can claim to be blood like that others can claim to be the people themselves. All the same if they are who they are I am in full support of honoring our heroes!!
