Bazedi, that GOLD wasnt mined in Zambia. It was just forfeited to the state after it was established in the courts of law that the owners wanted to smuggle the contraband illigally. There are proceedures that are followed when trading at the LOndon Metal Exchange. If you think you can just walk in the the London Metal Exhange and transact then you are living in a ‘fools paradise’ my friend. The normal way to dispose off forfeited contraband is through an auction. If this GOLD wasn’t mined in Zambia and we have even gained SOME million Dollars after the auction, then well done DEC and whoever was involved period…..

The gold was worth $1.7 million and yet it was sold for $1.4! Why was it not sold through the London Metal exchange through open bidding. We need more elected leaders like Sata in Africa who can lay it as it is to hell with diplomacy
