LIVING Waters Global Churches Bishop in Charge Bernard Jehu Nwaka has appealed to the people of Zambia to help restore the life of Iris Kaingu and her boy friend Nathan Silenga.
Bishop Nwaka says the media in the country and the community at large should not put pressure on the two for the sins they have committed but help restore their lives so that they can begin to fear God.
Bishop Nwaka says he personally renounce the evil which the two committed but there is need for the community to show love for them as Jesus Christ accepted the woman who was found committing adultery.
He says that Jesus showed love and accepted the women and warned her never to sin again.
Bishop Nwaka says that this is the route the Zambian community especially the media should take to serve the life of the two young people.
Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies ZCAS has expelled Former Community Development Minister Michael Kaingu’s daughter Iris who is appearing in a 16minute sex video with her boy friend a matter that has also attracted Police investigations.

Can someone please school me here: Is it a crime in Zambia to for a couple (married or not) to make a sex tape (i.e. filming themselves while having consensual sex)? It could be that they made it for their own private use and somebody else leaked it and posted it online. I mean what’s the crime here (I mean by law, not moral)? Is it because:
1. They had sex out of wedlock?
2. They filmed the sex?
3. They or someone else posted the film on the internet? or
4. All of the above?
I mean morally of course you will bring out all sorts of scoundrels and hypocrites as we know them in Zambia. But I just want to know what law these two had broken. When I first heard the story I thought they had not known each other and they were doing porn for sale or something.

Indeed, the two should be forgiven and Zambian should move on. I mean, ppl are going on about this issue as if there are no BIG problems out there – for example, the adultery that goes on at parliament Motel (with our so-called leaders being the main culprits); the molestation and rape in our own households, the domestic violence. Leave the two alone to enjoy themselves.
These are young people and young people make mistakes but the unfortunate thing about this whole story is the attention everyone is giving it. Iris is only 20 years old and I guess the boy friend is about the same age and Ba Tumfweko and Ba Post News paper are in the fore front carrying these stories. What do you honestly expect from 20 year old’s? Some of us are criticizing these youngsters and yet we have taken pleasure in watching their sex video. I believe that video was not meant to be shown to the public but was leaked somehow. Lets not pretend like some of us never did these things when growing up, I know I had my first sexual encounter when I was only 13, am I proud of it? This man started the work of God when he was in Form 1 at Chamboli Secondary School now grade 8 in the late 70s, by then I was a child but he was my elder brother’s classmate. When I went to the same school we found students talking about his christian life and how he started Scripture Union at the same school. Since then he has never changed his lifestyle. One does not need to watch the video. It is enough that it was reported in the media. How many of the things that we read about in the media do we get to prove with our eyes?
