THE Lusaka City Council (LCC) has summoned senior church officials at the newly built Multi-Million dollar Blessing Centre Bread of Life Church in Lusaka’s Emmasdale area to appear before it, tomorrow Monday 11/21.
This follows the death of a 40 year congregant who came from the Copperbelt Kitwe Yesterday Saturday 11/19 to witness the grand opening of the building.
The bizzarre happened after a ceiling board came off from the roofing and sliced half of his face following a strange wind and heavy downpour in the area.
That led to the scramble for safety and life as members caused a brief stampede when trying to get out of the building for safety whilst it was raining.
Council Public Relations Officer, Henry Kapata says the local authority has since launched investigations into the matter.
Mr. Kapata further disclosed that the local authority is yet to establish whether the church obtained a partial occupation certificate to use the unfinished building, as stipulated by the Law.
Bread of life church is overseered by Bishop Joe Imakando.
Folks don’t be cheated, the devil has no power to take a life in a church to make matters worse in the presence of ‘Men of God!!’ …… how was the structure bulid to only take a life at the opening…if the devil had so much power we could all have been dead… this issue is just too bizarre to be only the work of the devil….
It is well. We are better off with the blessing centre than without it. We are not discouraged but encouraged to be even more faithful. My condolences to the bereaved family. Bishop Imakando and the council of elders, take heart and soldier on with God’s work.
Even a full wen quiet is honarable
Imfweni mwe bantu. Imfwa yalisa as long as we are in the flesh. All of us will leave this world. Do not condemn and judge the servant of God. The problem with the flesh is that it pays more respect to death than life. Man of God, the Lord is with you. Continue being faithful. The l
Lord himself will defend His beloved church because for a child of God to live is Christ and death is gain.We wil continue in service of God because death will not separate us from God neither calamity nor power from the enemy nor mans judgement. God will fight to defend his church and his choice servant Bishop Imakando. I therefore warn any one that you will do well to stay away from this and you will do better not to say anything malicious about Bread of Life and the man of God if we ar to see God’s mercies because life is not a game of chance. We all owe it to God, so please accept what haappened allowed God to minister in your life. God keeps souls of those who believe in Him even if they left this world.
