BRIDE of Christ Ministries has written to the Registrar of Societies demanding the deregistration of the former ruling party and now opposition MMD.
In his letter to the Registrar of Societies dated 27th December,2011 obtained by QFM, Bride of Christ Ministries Pastor Charles Mubaanga says the MMD has highly violated its mandate,rules, and the rules stipulated by the Registrar of Societies for it to continue existing.
Pastor Mubaanga says the MMD has violated the principle of democratic tenets, which in its formulation document states that it will serve the people of Zambia in a transparent manner.
He says the MMD further robbed the people of Zambia whom they promised to serve with dignity, but ended up robbing them through deceit, craftiness, and plunder of public resources.
Pastor Mubaanga said it is for these reasons that the MMD should stop existing.

A POLITICAL PARTY CAN BE TAKEN TO TASK IF IT GOES AGAINST THE SOCIAL CONTRACTS. THAT IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO COME UP WITH LAWS THAT WILL COMPEL POLITICAL PARTIES AND THEIR CANDIDATES TO ENTER INTO SOCIAL CONTRACTS WITH THE ELECTORATES. @EDUCATED, You’re spot on! I thought churches were democratic enough to foster the existence of opposition parties,which enables the much-needed checks and balances. Our only recourse for dishonest politicians is the law. So, let those rotten potatoes in MMD face the music. There are some level-headed members that can bring integrity to MMD and possibly help them spring back to power. But a total demise of this former ruling party is certainly not good for democracy!

All Zambians have a right to self-expression. The Pastor is within his rights to speak out on an issue that has been the real cause to our poverty – MMD.

If you were genuine you would have started by condemning Sata and his government for changing their minds on almost all the things they promised. You would have condemned him together with ba MMD because out of their 10 years of purpoted theft he was part of them.

I don’t mind the MMD existing as a party for as long as they wish. I also don’t mind another party taking over from PF in 5 years if they don’t perform.but the MMD party should not be let anywhere near corridors of power, at least for the next 15 years, by then most of the rich and corrupt elements would have fallen off on the way. We will still have enough formidable opposition in UPND, ADD, Elias Chipimo and group, etc.
Mubanga is not a Pastor but an imposter. What grounds has he given for the deregistration of MMD? Infact better reasons for the deregistration of his kantemba church could be found like; church members being led by as brainless, purposeleSs and money seeking, pf licking machine.
