MMD is really just kicking itself in the foot. Contemporary democracy means even opposition MPs can be given ministerial and deputy-ministerial appointments. MMD is doing us in PF a favour if they expel those MMD MPs because it will only serve to weaken the opposition in parliament. MMD are truly losers.

In politics these are last kicks of a dying horse. MMD still shocked and now in denial of their loss. They should concentrate on finding an ‘Obama-like’ messiah to resurrect their party. A clean, young person (not any of the former ministers or leaders tainted by corruption) or a credible woman – none of the contenders (Mumba, Mutati, Musokotwane, etc can revive MMD as they are tainted by the same brush). Otherwise RIP MMD you had your day.
