PF Accused Of HIDING EMPTY PROMISES In The Graft FIGHT

The People’s Party has accused the ruling Patriotic Front government of hiding its empty agenda behind the fight against corruption.

Party president Edwin Sakala says the PF government has no vision and no proper programme for the country other than attacking fellow politicians.

Mr. Sakala tells QFM that government so far has not shown that it has any economic agenda for the country but has wasted its time in power fighting other politicians.

He says what president Michael Sata is fighting should be left entirely in the hands of investigative wings for him not to move away from issues that affect people.

Mr. Sakala says President Sata needs to start delivering on promises he made to the people of Zambia during election campaigns instead of turning his back on them now that he is in power.

Zambians wake up from your slumber!!!The man is saying the truth.

This government does not have a vision at all! All it wants it to have the chance to touch Dora Siliya’s soft bums and arrest everybody else who was in MMD.

It has no development agenda and tax money is being spent on witch hunting.

Very soon the PF will have clocked one year in power and it will have nothing to show for it

What puzzles me with most PF supporters contributing to the online debates is that they fail to appreciate other people’s opinions. In other words they tend to support everything the PF government is or is not doing whether wrong or right. Whether you like it or not this PF government is losing popularity at an alarming rate mainly because of failing to concerntrate on development as promised during campaigns.

The PFs main focus has shifted from fulfilling their promises to witch hunt of former leaders. Please take note that the majority of Zambians will judge PF based on its performance regarding economic improvement, job creation, etc. and not on how many people were harassed during its short reign.

@ERN, I agree with you.. While it is important to fight corruption, that is not the only thing that Mr. Sata and his PF said they would do once they ascend to power… In fact, I dnt think half the people who are blindly supporting the PF have read its manifesto. Remember, Zambia is a very interesting country. Very soon, the PF will clock a year in power n some of u will still be saying its too early to criticise them.. When will the right time be, 2 days before the 2016 election?? Sata, himself, said their honey moon was over so what do you people mean when u say it’s too early? Before u know it, graders will be coming to your hood 3 weeks before the elections (2016) to give u formula 1 roads, mobile hospitals, etc.

Naive Zambians blindfolded once again. You refuse to sees things for what they really are. Its only four months so give them time you lie to yourselves. You are given three months probation to prove where u can deliver in an office or not, four months is long enough to know what direction the nation is taking. I challenge you to tell me what makes you confident that The PF government is driving the nation in the right direction.

@ Shikulu bantu, this is elder brother to Richard Sakala and his bitter with anyone who talks about corruption coz that is what sent Richard Sakala to jail. The man is dull and is in the category of Chifire, lifwekelo and alike. His not worth anybody’s attention. not even puppys at his home listen to him when he calls……. He says “the President should addresse issues affecting pipo”, now according to his small brains, he thinks corruption does not affect pipo. Do you now understand the man my bro?

@ Anaconda, Are you equally dull to describe the exuming of 2 billion kwacha as a Witch hunt? Am afraid Zambia has alot of pipo from mental block using net to expose their illness.

The People’s Party has accused the ruling Patriotic Front government of hiding its empty agenda behind the fight against corruption. That doesn’t sound alright. Is that what they said this People’s Party? The fight against corruption should be part of any govt’s agenda. THIS GUY.DOESNT HAVE A HEART FOR PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA.WHAT IS THE ROOT CA– USE OF POVERTY IN ZAMBIA? IS IT NOT THE GREED OF OUR LEADERS WHOM WE ENTRUST with the running of our country affairs. So there is need to fight corruption and once that is done poverty will be solved. If SATA START DELIVERING NOW ON HIS PROMISES IT WILL JUST GO INTO FEW AND OTHER PIPOS POCKETS BECA– USE THESE PIPO ARE — USED TO CORRUPTION.SO SATA WANT TO PUT UP A BENCH MARK FOR DEVELOPMENTAL ASPECT AND IS THAT PUNISHMENT TO PIPO WHO MAY WANT TO PLAY WITH GOVNMENTS FUNDS MEANT FOR DEVELOPMENT.WHY DO WE SAY TO OUR CHILDREN THAT IF YOU DO THAT, THAT WILL HAPEN.EG TO A GIRL.IF YOU SLEEP WITH OTHER MAN YOU WILL GET PREGNANT AND AIDS.SO THE CHILD WILL AVOID THAT. Same to our leaders. We want to show them that if they mess up with our trust in them and steal our taxpayers money for personal benefiit they will be investigated and aventually jailed.so there is need to start frm that point.true development starts very far. Pipo will see this in future.give pf chance.

Fellow Zambians, i do need to know Mr. Sakala even his party. However, we all have a responsibility to keep reminding the gov’t of the promises made as well as their responsibilities.

We applaud the renewed fight agaisnt corruption. Now that the ‘logistics’ are in place. Other than the politicians, the Gov’t needs to go for the civil servants coz it has become endemic. Pipo creat trips/workshops/meetings just to make allowances. Sheer waste of tax payers money. Pure theft.

However, the gov’t shud also put in place the ‘logistics’ for programmes to eradicate poverty especially among the rural populations.

I strongly feel fighting corruption is a very key Govt agenda in economic improvement. You have no clue Mr. Sakala of how to run a country. You don’t seem to begin to grasp the amounts of money that are being derailed from developmental programs into individual pockets. Let me give Mr. Sakala a free Education in economics: Economic growth means sustained increase in national or per capita income (GNP) over a sufficiently long-period of time. Economic growth depends on availability of national resources, growth of physical capital, human capital and progress in technology. The higher the per capita national income, the greater the amounts of goods and services available for consumption per individual on average.
When ALL RESOURCES in an economy are employed for production, the size of national income generated is called potential GDP or full-employment level of income. With full employment you have better living standards you fool. So making sure all resources are employed for production and not corruption is a key Economic Agenda! Are we so starved for leadership that this low caliber of a man like Sakala can lead a party? What’s wrong with us Zambians?

The corruption fight shall remain a smoke screen for as long as this is the only thing PF knows how to do after the fight then what. PF should just show us what the shall do for this nation in the next five years. So far the only jobs the have created is street vending grabbing privatised companies is going to substract rather add. Learn from neighbours who have attempted these forms of gymnastics they are struggling nizanu ma Zambians.

The issue is that please give us your vision mr president so that as you fight graft atleast we should know where the boat is heading to. After it is no longer politics but national development that is what pp are crying for. To be honest things are getting worse where poverty is concerned.

MMD HOW CAN YOU EXPECT PF TO DELIVER THEIR PROMISES IN 90 DAYS,THAT IS THEIR ONLY SAYING.BUT WITHIN 90 DAYS,PF HAS ACHIEVED ALOT.FIGHTING CORRUPTION HAS ONLY STARTED—
    MMD SHOULD NOT CRY
ALSO PF SHOULD CLEAN UP POLICE—
    CORRUPTION HAS GROWN IN POLICE

Who says PF is losing popularity? I wonder how the so called graduates can fail to see that this PF has 5 years to develop this country when the uneducated ones on the streets of Lusaka can say it is not possible to develop the country in 90 days. By the way, they gave themselves 90 days for us to start seeing results. Not to develop this country fully. We in turn gave them 5 years (NOT 90 DAYS). For your information you MMD, fighting corruption is part of developing the country. It is not just digging the earth to build yourselves mansions using stolen money.

When the American presidential hope campaigns, they don’t talk about Bill Gates or Mr. Donald Trump. They talk about ordinary Americans. Politics is about serving people. Read about what happened to officials who served under George Bull after Obama took over. There were arrests and prosecutions. NOT witch hunt. So wake up. PF still has voters. We will even be more in 2016 and you will be shocked.

Lastly, why are the only ones that are not seeing any positive change in the way the government is managing the affairs of the nation? It is strange!

Edwin Sakala is the brother of Richard Sakale former state house press aid to FTJ Chiluba. He was the president of Zambia Direct Democracy and now Peoples Party I dont know which people. This is a man who supported MMD and RB during elections. He belongs to a group of people without moral, values and priciples. Shame on you Sakala. Wait for projects reports. Speak with evidence.
