Thin Wife KeyTo Happy Marriage!
Researchers have revealed the secret of a happy marriage – wives weighing less than their hubbies.
A four-year study has suggested that in the short and long term, both partners are more contented if the woman has a lower Body Mass Index.
The researchers concluded that initially men stay in the relationship because they find their thinner partners attractive.
Further down the line, women feel confident and loved because they know their man still wants them.
The study from the University of Tennessee, which selected 169 married couples aged under 35, discovered that men who had a higher BMI, which is calculated from height and weight, were happier at the start of their marriage and stayed that way.
The same effect was true for the women – by the end of year four wives with a lower BMI than their husbands were significantly happier than those who weighed the same or more.
“The great message from our study is that women of any size can be happy in their relationships with the right partner,” the Daily Mail quoted lead author Andrea Meltzer, as saying.
“It’s relative weight that matters, not absolute weight. It’s not that they have to be small,” added Meltzer

okey to me this appears more like a western or western-incorporated kind of theory. ofcourse we may all know that this whole woman thing would highly depend on the location at where it is conducted. hence it differs from place to place. in the USA most men like skinny slim women but i dont think that is the case around Africa. so ati bwa?

interesting. I have never been thin in my life. according to this report am doomed for an unhappy marriage. Though i know a lot of people dealing with infidelity in zambia. Thats regardless of whether the wife is thin or fat.

The study is basically referring to Tennessee only and that way it is correct in Tennessee and not any other place. Happiness in marriage has got many factors. The weight is just not one of them in other societies and culture. This research maybe misleading to other cultures and societies but let us just say that that in that particular place where the research was conducted it is correct and let us not confuse it with other regions.

Lets not be emotional or personal on research reports. The researcher does not know us, so when we read, let us share our experiences so that the research continues. No need for putting up defence shows. The most experienced/inexperienced and happiest/sadest married person is the one who died because no more lessons, experiences etc for them!

Am slim, a good 55kgs but i still know that men have different preferences. some want Fat, some Slim and others Thin but i still think Slim is beautiful not just for men but also for the lady’s self confidence (which is also important in a relationship). if you can do something about it then choose slim but if you can’t coz your fat is genetic then don’t cry just accept it and be confident. you are also destined for greatness!
