SATA ‘RUBBISHES’ HH’s Letter “He’s Never Been A CADRE. He doesnt understand National Problems APART from Problems Facing HIS POCKETS”

SATA

REPUBLICAN President Micheal Chilufya Sata has described as useless a letter written to him by UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema dated 27th December, 2011 with regards the opposition leader’s Kabulonga house, NO. F/488A/14/A/3.
In his letter of reply to the UPND leader dated 11th January, 2012, President Sata in acknowledging receipt says he expect more meaningful correspondence from leaders of political parties which will assist solving the problems facing the country.
President Sata says it is unfortunate, when people that have never been cadres, just ascend to the top of a political party from nowhere, they do not understand the problems facing the country apart from problems facing their pockets.
In his letter to the President, Mr Hichilema observed that President Sata’s habit of abusing, demeaning, ridiculing and wrongly accusing innocent and defenceless citizens had worsened.
He pointed out that President during a visit to Mazabuka in November 2011 made wild allegations about him including allegations that he wrongly acquired his family house he is occupying in Lusaka’s Kabulonga residential area.
Mr Hichilema refutes that he has never been a liquidator of Lima Bank contrary to the President’s insinuations, and that the said house which he says he bought through public tender has never belonged to Lima Bank.
He stated that the law should take its course should it be established that he wrongly acquired his house.

Zambia my beloved country has really gone to the dogs. In every issue, some people have to expose their promiscuity. Cant you just discuss issues. Pali HH tamulala?

As for all of you who are supporting Sata’s response, i think you are very foolish to say the least. You dont have to be a carder to understand governance. Not all effective presidents start as carders. And Im talking of carders in the Zambian context.

What Sata means is that he doesn’t mean what he says. Sata accused HH of something, shouldn’t it honestly be right that HH responds? If the accusation Sata made to HH was not a serious matter of national concern, what do we take of the accusation of other people for corrupt tendencies? Is this fight against corruption serious?

How does complaining when someone is falsely accusing you to have obtained your house through corruption amount to rubbish. Many in Zambia need to reevaluate their stance in Life. It seems whatever Sata says no matter how senseless it is people will praise.

I agree with the President, lets have more meaningful correspondences from our leaders aimed at solving national and not personal problems.

  11. President Sata needs a team of advisers

President Sata has continued to think abruptly. He has appointed Post Newspapers workers as his personal assistants and diplomats(e.g. Chellah, Malupenga, Chansa Kabwela and Patson Chilemba). He renamed airports(typically in very poor quality ink at least for Kenneth Kaunda airport). He has created a province and now districts. He has been preoccupied with catching thieves (Mwanawasa style)by appointing questionnable characters like PS Mwamba to fix an innocent subject Mwalimu Simfukwe (former PS, Kasama) whose crime appears to be decentralising development which Sata ironically always dreams about but has no clue as to what it entails.Does Sata listen? Not at all.Does he care? He does not seem so after being pampered by youths. Will he reform? Not likely at his age and considering the length of years he spent in opposition. Now he wants to fix HH over Lima bank and Intercontinental Hotel(His own words when he swore in Mutembo gave him away). What does the world think of him so far? If the British High Commissioner is one who can represent the world then we can conclude that Sata has made a lot of noise about corruption but has no idea of how to tackle it. In short, he is not coherent as a president should be and State House should reach out to him for a crash programme in how to behave presidential. My suggestion is that the constitution should include a clause that states that the Presidency is an institution and not an individual who should exchange words with his subjects like George Kunda as though he is still campaining. President Sata, please begin to behave presidential and quit thinking that the Evelyne Hone College Trained boys and girls of the Post Newspaper are there to govern and develop Zambia. What they offer is simply called press banter and nothing more.In other words they offer what Dora gave to RB. Long and hard decisions must be thought out by thinktanks with whom you should be bouncing ideas before you can utter them. Be presidential and stop fighting innocent Zambians like HH and Mwalimu Simfukwe. Tap their brains instead of wasting them. OP chaps take this message to State House verbatim.

People, not all of us are Kaponyaz ayi. We work hard to acquire property. HH worked hard to acquire the property he owns. He doesn’t come from a nomadic family, which just migrates from place to place in search of food. We don’t expect such outbursts from someone at plot one. You don’t make a good leader by first occupying the portfolio of a machete welding cadre. Being an “old dog” should not make you insult others. Its not their fault that they were born later than you. To hell with your rubbish experience also.

HH is the most disgruntled “politician” in Zambia. He is so bitter and his rantings are not well thought out. Sata is so right to put that “fool” in his place. I’m just glad that he pulled out of the pact, the thief.
