MMD And PF Confident Of Victory In MSANZALA
The opposition Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) has re-adopted Peter Daka as their candidate for the forthcoming Msanzala parliamentary by-elections slated for February 16th.
MMD chairman for elections Gabriel Namulambe has confirmed the development to Qfm in an exclusive interview.
Mr. Namulambe has expressed confidence that Mr. Daka whose credentials have surpassed his only opponent a Mr. Maumba will deliver victory to the former ruling party.
The Msanzala polls will renew the contest between Mr. Daka and immediate past area Independent Member of Parliament Colonel Joseph Lungu who resigned to join the PF has since been adopted to recontest the seat on the ruling party ticket.
Meanwhile, Patriotic Front chairperson for mobilization Charles Banda is upbeat that the ruling party will scoop the seat adding that the election will be a litmus test for the MMD’s dwindling popularity in the area.
Mr. Banda said in an interview that the PF has put in place a strong campaign team led by Chawama Member of Parliament and deputy Minister in the Office of the Vice President Edgar Lungu.
He says the people of Msanzala have confidence in the PF candidate and that come February 16th, PF will emerge victorious.

Of all people MMD, Peter Daka made MMD lose in Chilanga because he used his mother in-law to campain and he leads a life style of a king. Please find someone else. I love MMD.

ba mmd why cnt u sit bck relax n reoganise ur part othr thn jumpin into by-elections whch u knw vry wel tht u wont win,first thin hav a part presdo 2nd sort out pipo who ar perceved 2 b corupt n so main othr -tve thins tht seems to hold th part backwards

Peter Daka has brought development in Musazala than than what PF has done in its entire 100 days. Lungu caused a costly by election, money which would have developed Musazala further if he opted to support PF without causing a by election. Akwasu mchenjele na Mubemba uyu. Paliye kanu apa PF ni party ya anthu a kumpoto tyala. Chitukuko Mu Zambia eyamba MMD asiya ndipo muone zinyinji zikuza. A Daka akaluta mu ng’anda ya malamulo aka muuze PF cho olakwa Mu dziko. Onse a PF akuti Sata monga ni Mulungu alakwa lini. Koma ndiye enze pasogolo kulakwa na lelo opitilila kulakwa. Opanga ma districts mu Zambia yeka tiyala monga Zambia ni yake eka. Yayi kuliye ziko ya tetyo. Vote ni MMD.

MMD will not go far as long as it continues to use old methods. Radical change is needed within MMD. This inner circle member is favoured by RB with whom he has shared ndalama selfishly. He will lose again and waste MMD’s time and money. Even Kachingwe is looking for a job in PF on a dialy basis. Just Ask Mangani. The truth will reveal itself.
