GOVERNMENT Fails To TRACK Website Owners Spreading SATA's 'Assassination' RUMOUR, Engages American GOVERMENT
The Zambian government has threatened to expose and deal with the authors of a malicious article which was yesterday Sunday 1/22 published on one of the online newspapers that purpoted that Republican President Michael Sata had died.
After failure by the Zambian government to track the owners of the website, the Zambian government has hinted at involving the American Government to trace the authors of the malicious rumours that President Micheal Sata had been assassinated.
Home affairs minister Kennedy Sakeni has told Journalists in Lusaka this morning 1/23 that the website on which the article alleging that President Sata had been assassinated in the early hours of yesterday had appeared is believed to be hosted in the USA.
Mr. Sakeni says investigations are underway and adding that the people behind such false reports are believed to be people that were defeated in the last elections.
But when told by QFM news that the Zambia police had not received any information on the matter, Mr. Sakeni expressed disappointment that the Zambia Police was waiting for State house to furnish them with information on such a sensitive matter which was already in the public domain.
And when earlier contacted, Zambia police spokesperson Elizabeth Kanjela told QFM that the police service had not received any official information from State house on the matter.

the law enforcement would be able to trace or even have a lead in this investigation if they were equipped with the right set of tools to do the work. the have to seek help from the united states government, embarrassing if u ask me.

The police officers are useless,they are full of corruption,their minds stinks with corruption,why could they say they are not aware of the situation?they should be on fore front in bringing the culprit to book,they have to work according to the law of this nation.I don’t see the change in the fight against corruption in security wing,where are we going as a nation???

Extract from Wikipedia “The alteration appears to have been done in the United Kingdom town of Crawley by unknown persons using the IP Address 82.11.64.177 through the domain name virginmedia.com with Virgin Media Limited as Internet Service Providers.
The falsified alteration was sent through a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) or Digital Subscriber Loop – a family of technologies that provide internet access by transmitting digital data over the wires of a local telephone network.
The coordinates for the altered post appeared to be 51°6’48″N -0°10’58″W while the weather station code for the alter was UKXX0816, signifying that it was done in the England region of the UK.
The falsified death claim was available and accessed worldwide early hours of Sunday.
The false report was apparently picked by news blogs that flight Zambian news and current affairs but later pulled off after State House in Lusaka issued a statement in rebuttal.

How can the police know of such thing if they don’t even have a computer in the IGs office. Most of the police have never even used a compuyter,they just see them when they are brought in as exhibits. I have been following this with mixed feelings and i have no doubt that the mbungas would soon be caught.A case of such magnitute should not be handled with kid gloves.Bringing in the USA government is ideal since our police service doesn’t have the technology.Thats why there are referrals.

Look at it this way, the person who wrote that article was just fooling himself if we wake up in the morning and find it was some fool out there trying to attract peoples’ attention. This should not warrant persuit and is a waste of money and time.
Our concern should be to sit down, think and come up with ideas that will make us move a step closer to a self sufficient Nation. If you tell me where I can get money to start manufacturing some of the hardwares we are importing it will make more sense.
