This is really a good move the government has taken in ensuring that ZAMTEL is repossesed. My only advice to the government is that they should continue running business affairs of ZAMTEL in the same course those LIBYANS were driving it. Otherwise congratulations to the President for taking such a decisive measure.

Guys i strongly feel that this is an act of God. just look at the flow of events; Gaddafi dies – Michael SC wins (rules) – Zamtel repossessed. This is not a coincidence but providence. imagine gGaddafi being alive, would our Michael -SC dared repossesing Zamtel?

I am sure the Libyan people will understand and bare with us for what has happened to Paulsen. Three quarters of the Zambian people were opposed to the sell of Zamtel by mmd gvt. The MMD gvt which we trusted and put in power after we lost our dear president Levy (MHSRIP) corruptly sold Zamtel to Lap GreenN against people’s wishes. People lost their jobs just for opposing to the idea of selling Zamtel. The PF party before they came into power also warned MMD gvt under president Rupia Banda not to sell Zamtel. Now the new gvt of pf party under the leadership of HEMC Sata. Voted in power to carry the Zambian Flag and protect property of GRZ are just putting things in order on behalf of the Zambian people, that is one of the reasons why MMD party lost the 20th September 2011 elections cos of corruption in their gvt and Zamtel SAGA. Therefore the president of the Republic of Zambia and PF party need to be respected for carrying out this difficult job on our behalf, we thank you.

We are happy Zamtel has been reposessed. But was it necessary for the police to be heavily armed wen chasing the CEO? Was he resisting or something?
