I am very disappointed with Frank. These are the leaders we do not need in this generation. What i expect from him is to evaluate critically and pick up the pieces and move forward. If all Frank thinks of is to be in power then the best he can do is not only to resign from his position but also to resign from politics. We need a strong and objective opposition in this country to keep checking the party in power at any time. So bwana Frank leave room for objective pliticians. And if MMD’s main focus will be to return into power without self evaluation then it will go the UNIP way. So people in MMD who are thinking like Frank, should be allowed to leave and leave for good.

That’s what happens when people decide to pretend and fail to be objective. All the people in MMD knew that Rupiah was a wrong person right from 2008 when they voted for him to beat Magande. But this tendency of keeping quiet even we know that things are not well will kill us. This is the cause of the MMD’s demise – they bauried their heads in the sand and pretended with RB RB when they knew he was a wrong person. Rest in peace MMD, sobonane zulwini! See you in heaven those of you that are believers.

All of you above are so correct when you say MMD is dead. The best they could do is officially disband the party, apologise to the nation and beg for forgiveness. We just might forgive them if they promise not to participate in politics.

The normal political cycle for any party (in a real democracy that is) is 2 terms. MMD effectively had 4 terms and they ruined it.

They are now in oblivion just like UNIP.

All the Mumbas, Mutatis, Musokotwanes, etc – these are just the last kicks of a dying horse. Remember that UNIP changed leaders over and over and got no where. No decent zambian will ever put an ‘X’ against the letters ‘MMD’ for a very long time to come.
