SATA Sends RB To GABON To Watch Zambia Vs Ivory Coast AFCON Finale

RB

Former president Rupiah Bwezani Banda has joined the Zambian delegation sent by President micheal sata to Gabon give the chipolopolo team support during tommorrows final encounter between Zambia and Ivory Coast

Mr. Banda will be part of the Zambian delegation to Libreville, Gabon to attend the closing ceremony and final match.

This was after President Sata requested the former head of state, who is an ardent soccer fan to join First Republican president Dr Kenneth David Kaunda, Republican Vice-President Dr Guy Scott and other Zambian dignitaries who are travelling to Gabon to give solidarity and support to the Chipolopolo Boys as they play their final match tomorrow.

In yet another passionate call to the Zambia National Soccer Team, the President said the entire nation is proud of the excellent successes the team has recorded during this period.

“No doubt, Zambia has become one of the continent’s leading team in football following a convincing and outstanding performance of our heroic Chipolopolo Boys at the 2012 Orange Africa Cup of Nations tournament”  President Sata said.

The President wished the team every success in the final and counselled them to remain resolute and optimistic especially with the unwavering support they are enjoying from both the Government and the Zambian people in general.

We are confident that the Chipolopolo Boys will emerge victorious and subsequently return with the trophy to Zambia after many years of attempts to clinch gold at this prestigious African tournament, the Head of State said.

We wish our brave and gifted ambassadors the very best of luck and urge them to make Zambia proud once more. Let them know that after this final match, they shall forever remain winners and true representatives of our motherland.

1.if MCS can extend a hand of brotherhood to RB why not ka eric mwanza? that ka boy stormed & chased peter makembo out of the hotel.

2.eric mwanza acted as a nincompoop by failing to use his rationale when the euphoria and spirit in the zambian camp is still high.
the spirit of togetherness has been demonstrated by MCS and RB.

3.eric mwanza faz positions are on contractual base & not for life… behavior ka eric. i felt bad when ka eric stormed pastor peter makembo…

Bravo ba Sata a very shrewd politician indeed!!!! Whilst KK and RB are on the plane, can RB plse be convinced to tell the nation where his thieving son is!!!! Banda does have a good heart, BUT his sons are killing him – they are the ones that looted big time and the poor man RB will die from BP and stress-related illness because of the foolish Banda boys. RB is also to blame to an extent – how could he allow his sons to loot the nation like that!!!

  25. MR BWEZANI   February 12, 2012 at 1:21 pm

If the head of state has extended his gesture by also inviting RB to go and show solidarity to our national team in Gabon, who are you baggers who are saying silly things about RB! Leave the big man alone. If only you knew how good RB is, you would’t have been saying all the rubbish you keep talking about, he just had wrong advisers who may have left him in this misery.RB and KK, go and support you children. go Zambia go make us proud.

  34. Rio   February 13, 2012 at 9:56 am

  40. Treva   February 14, 2012 at 9:15 am

@ JOHN ZEMBA, JUST A QUESTION FOR YOU! HOW DO YOU COMPARE R.B AND MMD’S BEHAVIOR DURING CHILUBA’S FUNERAL? ARE THEY NOT ASHAMED THAT THE CURRENT HEAD OF STATE IS PAYING THEM GOOD IN EXCHANGE FOR THEIR EVIL DEEDS? SECONDLY, DO YOU THINK MMD IN POWER TODAY COULD HAVE ALLOWED OPPOSITION TO BE PART OF THIS GOING BY THEIR PAST BEHAVIOR I.E WILLIAM BANDA? THIRDLY,YOU BLAME R.B’S ADVISORS FOR HIS MISTAKES, WHO APPOINTED HIS ADVISERS/HANDLERS, IS IT NOT R.B HIMSELF?
