Pre-match Celebrations, Characterized By Careless Driving And Excess Beer Drinking

A random check by tumfweko around Lusaka and Ndola to asses how fans are carrying the on going pre-match celebrations revealed fans are are confident for Victory.
However, another check conducted by tumfweko revealed that many motorist have taken advantage of the event and have been drinking beer whilst driving.
Such is one drunk driver who fell asleep whilst driving a registered Mercedes Benz with plate no ABM 5677.
He lost control and almost hit a tree along the great East Road, Show Grounds in Lusaka. They were four passengers in the car but non was injured. Police officers at the scene declined to give full details of the accident and said it was too early to determine the cause of the accident. Other checks conducted showed that fans were in ‘jovial’ mood, characterized by dancing and blowing whistles.
Sunday seemed to be a busy day as it was even hard to find MTN scratch cards because they were sold out in most parts of the City.
If by chance the cards were found, the 1000 kwacha scratch cards were being sold at 1500 Kwacha while the 5000 kwacha were being sold at 7500 kwacha, but recent reports say that the situation is back to normal.
