Egyptian Investment In Zambia To Increase

Egyptian Ambassador to Zambia Salah Al Sadek says the investment by Egyptian businesses into Zambia is likely to experience an upward trend.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Qfm, ambassador Sadek said the increase will be attributed to the conducive environment that government has created for foreign investment.

He has further explained that the stance taken by the Patriotic front government in tackling the escalating levels of corruption as built confidence in the Zambian business arena for foreign investors.

Ambassador Sadek has stated that despite his country slowly recovering from the recent revolution that toppled President Hosni Mubarak, the business community in his country is eyeing Zambia as an investment destination.

He has also hailed Zambians for preserving peace and stability stating that stability is a pre-requisite for any country to attract investors.

I hope they will bring meaningful investmet, and not investment that will increase the population of Egyptians in our nation. Our govt must concetrate on empowering many zambians by giving each and every zamb acces to borow money from banks with low rates of paying back, so that we can invest in our natural resources

This money is coming from Egyptian military because Egyptian businesses do not have money. These guys in the army want to hide their money from the coming civilian rule. They cannot afford to submit their funds to be under the jurisdiction of civilians.
