A 42 year old man has been arrested by police in Kitwe for allegedly defiling his 11 year old niece.
Luwi Kajila of Luto area allegedly defiled his niece on Wednesday around 16:00 hours.
Police Spokesperson Elzabeth Kanjela says the incident occurred after the mother to the victim went to the field.
Ms Kanjela has told ZNBC News that the suspect has been arrested and is under police custody awaiting trial.
And Ms Kanjela says Police have concluded investigations in a case involving the 12 year old girl that was defiled and brutally murdered in Chibombo.
She says the late Brilliant Muyuwa sustained a broken throat and had blood coming out from the private parts.
Kelvin Mwatamwandi who defiled and killed the girl is in police custody.
