For those who are casting stones at pastor Chris please think for a while. personally I was whaaat? but giving it a second thought I think Chris is spot on. He says masturbation ‘in itself’ is not a sin just like many others. it becomes a problem when we engage our conscious. Realize that for example if your conscious tells you that drinking some wine is sinful, you go ahead and drink it, definitely you commit sin and the opposite is true. Its the meaning we give into many life situations and circumstances that determine whether they are right or wrong. One man’s meat another man’s poison, so to speak. Having said that I still believe masturbation is wrong. A christian can masturbate without a feeling of guilty and get away with it but then when we get born a again and enter a personal relationship with Christ, get filled with the Holy Spirit then even without us realizing it we stop the bad old ways and get passionate with things that glorify Him.
In this case pastor Chris behaved himself a scholar rather than a pastor, it was meaningless of him debating a complicated issue which does not contribute in the ultimate salvation of an individual but has far reaching implications in the congregation.

Why wld u call Pastor Chris Oyakhilome a false prophet for saying masturbation, in and of itself is not a sin? If u were a student of Science & Tech, like me, u would have known that even babies in d womb masturbate and touch themselves. LOL! The righteousness or unrighteousness of an act is not determined by d act itself. It is determined from d real motive or reason behind d act. #GetSpiritualWisdom

If u masturbate w/ lust or lustful tots in ur mind, and if u have made this a habit, then u may be hurting urself and welcoming “sin” into ur heart. But d case is different for, say, a man or woman who masturbates, thinking of or imagining having sex w/ his or her spouse. So, u see, my dear, 2 similar scenarios of ppl doing the same thing (outwardly) but w/ entirely different reasons or motives in mind. God judges them differently…

I give another example: 2 men looking at a woman. One is thinking of ripping off her clothes, consuming her – lustfully – to lure her, and then to use her as a thing, or toy and then to dump her. On d other hand, d 2nd man looks at her as she walks by and allows true respect and admiration to well up in his mind. He thanks God for His wonderful creation and renews his commitment to ensure that women enjoy equal rights w/ men. Once again, we see 2 men, looking at the same woman but w/ totally different motives. God judges them differently… d act of “looking”, in and of itself cannot be regarded as a “sin”. The righteousness or unrighteousness of, “d act of looking” is not determined by d act itself. It is determined from d real motive(s) or reason(s) behind d act. #GetSpiritualWisdom

“I believe” Adam was at first made asexual,
Able to enjoy sexual pleasure with himself, Able to reproduce by himself, (Gen 1:27)
Certain birds can, certain fishes can, so why can’t he anyway?
Yet, God saw Adam was alone; God didn’t see he’s unable to reproduce. (Gen 2:18)
God did not create just “a child incubating machine” but a Help, meet for him. (Gen 2:20)
God removed the feminine quality in Adam and made a woman of it. (Gen 2:21-22)
Therefore a man is not permitted to enjoy sexual pleasure with himself
Neither is he permitted to enjoy it with another man
He is not permitted to enjoy sexual pleasure with an animal or any other thing.
If he wants sexual satisfaction or desires to reproduce
HE MUST GO GET A WOMAN!
But what kind of woman can a man do this with?
His mother, his grandmother, his biological sister, his fiancée, girlfriend, friend, WHO?
She must be a woman with whom they have become one flesh, (Gen 2:23)……..
