‘SATA, Catholic Bishops State Your Positions On HOMOSEXUALS Unlike Remaining MUTE’

State your Position ! Sata

It is very disappointing and shocking to note that republican President Michael Chilufya Sata’s Patriotic Front government has failed to state its position on gay rights.
It is also surprising to note that the ever outspoken Catholic Bishops have remained mute over this issue and many Zambians wonder whether they are in ‘indirect’ support of this ambiguous state.
One wonders where and how the same people advocating for gay rights were born. In case they didn’t know, they were born because a man and woman married.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon was here in Zambia and at no time did we see him with a male partner, He came with his wife. Many Zambians wonder why Ban Ki Moon is advocating for gay rights and yet where he comes from in his country there is no such nuisance.
I conquer with what comrade Mugabe said about the west and there gay rights and i quote “Nature is nature. It has created male and female,” Mugabe told thousands of supporters at his 88th birthday celebration at a stadium in the eastern border town of Mutare.

“You David Cameron, are you suggesting that you don’t know that or is it some kind of insanity or part of the culture of Europeans.

“In their newspapers, that’s one of my sins. That I called (gays) worse than pigs and dogs because pigs know there are males and females. It’s even in the Bible that you create through the system of marrying.

“That’s how we were born, so we reject that outright and say to hell with you. I won’t even call him a dog because my own dog will complain and say, but what have I done.”“Please, young men and women, you don’t have the freedom for men to marry men and women to marry women. You have the freedom for men to marry women. That’s God’s freedom. That’s what created you and me.”

It seems Mugabe speaks sense on this one and one wonders why our very own outspoken Sata has decided to remain mute.
Mugabe has for decades ranted against homosexuality.
Today comrade Mugabe seems to be the only African leader who seem to have stood his ground and a lot of us well meaning Zambians and others will surely embrace him. Yes Mugabe might be stubborn but his stubbornness on gay rights is something worth admiring unlike our leaders who are mute!.
As much as Zambians agree that sexual orientation is not a choice but a complex interplay of both biological and environmental factors, homosexuality is both unnatural and dysfunctional. It is a good example of an abnormal variation in human sexuality. Legalizing homosexuality is a sign of a not being well-meaning and not wanting to uphold that which we hold sacred.
The Zambian people demand to know your position as government, the Zambian people demand to know your position as Catholic Bishops.
The PF government and Catholic Bishops should state their position now. Their quietness is an indication that all is well with them !

I suppose the west is looking at us and celebrating that they have achieved in getting us talking about homosexuality. Consider the following:

    1. In Zambian homosexuality, bestiality, defilement, rape and GBV are all undeniably rampant and on the rise. These all are illegal, unnatural, un cultural, un religious (whatever religion there is in this country) and are punishable by law.

    2. If in Zambia anyone will be arrested and punished / rehabilitated for marrying more than one partner, defilement, bestiality and conduct likely to cause breach of peace, Why should a homosexual be let loose and given (“wrongs”) rights? Why should BAN Ki-moon be allowed to come here and expose “conduct like to cause breach of peace” and hosted for a banquette?

    3. There is no such thing as Gay right. Like the able lawyer Mumba Kapumpa put it on radio. there are only human right and not defiler right, sodomists rights, Homosexual rights and all these wrong wrongs!

    4. We MUST arrest and persecute anyone who come to breach our peace, advocate for homosexuals to be adored (in the same group as defilers.) beginning with Mr. Ban Ki-moon. He should not only apologize but be arrested for advocating for our citizens to break our law, culture, religion nature and all there is for us to believe in. Our laws are for everyone within the bounds to abide by.

    5. Join me in the “black ribbon campaign” against homosexuality and denouncing BAN Ki-moon!

    6. Lets us all take this self imposed intrinsic freedom to discriminate and isolate dehumanize homosexuals, defilers, rapists. Let us punish, rehabilitate and pray for them and our most beautiful land Zambia!

I THINK YOU GUYS HAVE NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT. BAN KI MOON WAS SIMPLY STATING THE UN POSITION. IT IS UP TO EACH GOVERNMENT TO ACCEPT OR IT OR NOT. EVEN THE US SOMETIMES REJECTS SOME UN RESOLUTIONS.

SATA HAS A POSITION WHICH WE ALREADY KNOW. HE TOLD YOU THAT IF HE WAS GAY, HOW COME HE HAS A FEMALE WIFE AND HAS CHILDREN? SOME PEOPLE HOPE TO GAIN POLITICAL MILAGE OUT OF THIS.

EVEN IF SATA SAYS THAT ZAMBIA DOES NOT SUPPORT HOMOSEXUALITY YOU WILL NOT STOP TALKING. REMEMBER IT WAS USED AGAINST SATA LAST ELECTIONS. DORA EVEN WENT TO THE EXTENT OF INVITING MEN TO TOUCH HER BUMS ETC. BUT IT NEVER WORKED.

YES AS CHRISTIANS WE TOTALLY REJECT HOMOSEXUALITY. AND WE ARE FIGHTING A LOSING BATTLE IN THESE LAST DAYS. SO THE CHURCH SHOULD EMPHASIZE ON SCRIPTURAL TEACHINGS. IN THE WEST SOME PRIESTS AND SOME PEOPLE NOW CLAIM THAT IT IS ACTUALLY BIBLICAL TO BE GAY. EVENTUALLY WE WILL BE FORCED TO SUCCUMB. BUT MAY IT NOT HAPPEN IN OUR DAY.

    The hypocrisy of the west
The recent pronouncement by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon on his visit imploring Zambia to recognise the rights of gays is a shocker!
A few Months ago Hillary Clinton is on record for going as far as saying they ( the West ) would not give aid to countries that do not recognise these gay rights
Ban Ki Moon must be cognisant of the fact that Africa has very strong traditional belief which should also be recognised and Africans have the right to have these beliefs. What is taboo in America/North Korea (Polygamy) is acceptable in majority of Africa .What is Taboo in most of Africa (Homosexuality) is acceptable in Hillary’s home town and not in my home Chamboli, Kitwe Zambia.
While in Africa the polygamous marriage is traditionally acceptable and some African countries have constitutions which prohibit polygamy, this is in itself is an accepted norm in the African society
Argument will wage on as to whether the enlightened ‘modern African’ would agree to this. Indeed Moon and Hillary will vehemently condemn Polygamy. In the African society this is common and as much as people would scoff at it, it is there and has been in practice before our time, Fact! Well if it is permissible for two men or women to get married in the eyes of Moon and Hillary as it is traditionally become norm in her country, then it is indeed permissible for them to legalise polygamy in America as it does in no way defy any of the principles of ’human rights’. His quest to export lesbianism and homosexuality to Africa is another effort by the west of imposing on the African conditions that will relegated Africa to the lowest moral ebb, yet again! What is acceptable to them is not necessarily acceptable to Africa.
These utterances must be condemned by the church, government and all people that understand the right for Africa to choose its own moral pathway. Imagine what Hillary would say if her hubby Bill said he would like to take a couple of more wives or an African gay man wanted to marry seven men. Hell would break loose. Jesus Come quickly.

In Zimbabwe we call him “Ban Krupt Moon”. The man is morally banrupt and has nothing to offer to humanity. He has no developmental agenda.

So, Zambia is wasting parliament time with such a man? Discussing (illicit) sex? What happened to more money and more jobs? What about the Christian nation?

That is why in Zimbabwe we are consistent with leadership even if it mean we develop slowly but surely one day we will be there.

I have wondering why everyone is wasting so much time on this gay right topic from the time Ban ki Moon came to Zambia.
Am a catholic myself and we have a stance to respect each and every human being which i also subscribe to personally. I believe the borne of contention here is to respect each and every human being. Pipo who are engage themselves in gay activities, thieves, hules etc need to be helped. We shud accept the fact that these vices exist and no one supports stealing, prostitution, homosexuality etc. What we say in our for example is that we are not going to chase away pipo who are involved in such activities but instead try and help them that does not mean we are legalizing them, please differentiate between promoting wrong doing and respecting pipo’s rights irrespective of who they are, they are still human and are not animals- help them!

I find dragging the catholic church in this to be both irrisponsible and illconsived.First of all the Catholic church is not a one man show which responds to anything or comments on anything without proper scrutiny and prayer.Secondly the church is very clear on this topic.First of all Fr.Frank Bwalya though does not represent the church made a statement, secondly before elections the church stated that it does not support or advocate for homosexuality but it recognises that homosexuals were created in the image of God and should be given treatment which is given to any human being, that is what we call respecting human rights.
I wish also to state that this country is not for Michael Sata and his ministers. It is therefore important that the governmet stays away from this topic untill the debate is exosted by people(that is called democracy).Should we arrest whoever makes a negative comment against Sata just because it is offensive to the president? No,that is called freedom of expression. In my opinion if two concenting adults engage in hosexuality,it is their choice, what harm will it do to you people who are so upright and without sin. This loud cry on homosexuality to me is a sign that most Zambian are Morally weak and could be havin funny sexual orientation hence the fear that they will be caught up in the mess.
Human right are human rights whether they are for the majority or the minority. All those claiming to be anti homosexual campaigner should not forget to include fonication, adultery and theft on there campaign and should advocate that all those caght in adultery or fonication or theft(even at work) should be killed by stonning.why implement some laws while leaving out others?is it hypocrisy?
