‘SATA, Catholic Bishops State Your Positions On HOMOSEXUALS Unlike Remaining MUTE’

State your Position ! Sata

It is very disappointing and shocking to note that republican President Michael Chilufya Sata’s Patriotic Front government has failed to state its position on gay rights.
It is also surprising to note that the ever outspoken Catholic Bishops have remained mute over this issue and many Zambians wonder whether they are in ‘indirect’ support of this ambiguous state.
One wonders where and how the same people advocating for gay rights were born. In case they didn’t know, they were born because a man and woman married.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon was here in Zambia and at no time did we see him with a male partner, He came with his wife. Many Zambians wonder why Ban Ki Moon is advocating for gay rights and yet where he comes from in his country there is no such nuisance.
I conquer with what comrade Mugabe said about the west and there gay rights and i quote “Nature is nature. It has created male and female,” Mugabe told thousands of supporters at his 88th birthday celebration at a stadium in the eastern border town of Mutare.

“You David Cameron, are you suggesting that you don’t know that or is it some kind of insanity or part of the culture of Europeans.

“In their newspapers, that’s one of my sins. That I called (gays) worse than pigs and dogs because pigs know there are males and females. It’s even in the Bible that you create through the system of marrying.

“That’s how we were born, so we reject that outright and say to hell with you. I won’t even call him a dog because my own dog will complain and say, but what have I done.”“Please, young men and women, you don’t have the freedom for men to marry men and women to marry women. You have the freedom for men to marry women. That’s God’s freedom. That’s what created you and me.”

It seems Mugabe speaks sense on this one and one wonders why our very own outspoken Sata has decided to remain mute.
Mugabe has for decades ranted against homosexuality.
Today comrade Mugabe seems to be the only African leader who seem to have stood his ground and a lot of us well meaning Zambians and others will surely embrace him. Yes Mugabe might be stubborn but his stubbornness on gay rights is something worth admiring unlike our leaders who are mute!.
As much as Zambians agree that sexual orientation is not a choice but a complex interplay of both biological and environmental factors, homosexuality is both unnatural and dysfunctional. It is a good example of an abnormal variation in human sexuality. Legalizing homosexuality is a sign of a not being well-meaning and not wanting to uphold that which we hold sacred.
The Zambian people demand to know your position as government, the Zambian people demand to know your position as Catholic Bishops.
The PF government and Catholic Bishops should state their position now. Their quietness is an indication that all is well with them !

It doesn’t sound like a good idea, this is supossed to be a straight forward issue. Lets allnred 1corinthians 6:9 it says… ”t! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.”

So it’s just fair and prudent that they state their positions, instead of hiding in some literature. fact that a rule is written down doe not mean it is followed. Speak, or we will assume you support the UN position.

What is happening? Now they have banned airing of people’s view on ZVBC TV and Radio, I thought we had freedom of expression in this country. What does this mean? Where is democracy? Where is integrity?

How did Mr Ban Ki Moon choose to come to Zambia? Has Mr Obama also been invited to come and reinforce the message of homosexuality too. What about abortion rights.

It is obvious our leaders have been working on this agenda for a long time. This is deception at its best.

May God arise on behalf of Zambia and may the Zambians arise with God.

Let it not corrupt Zambian culture.

It is a shame that the so called leaders are mute on this issue.

If the same leaders made a stance then this debate would be finished and halted.

Okay lets set some data in order here. Being Homosexual and practicing homosexuality are two different things, usually the latter are the ones that seek rights, yes so that they can practice. I find it very interesting to recall that SATA was accused of supporting homosexuality(practice) at the peak of the presidential campaign. SATA is now mute about the issue, also it is common knowledge that SATA invited The Chief of UN, the question remains why? could it be that the government is responsible for the visit and consequently its purposed outcome?

You are fool to have asked Sata and The Catholics to comment on homosexuality. Who doesn’t know that Sata is a staunch Catholic? And who doesn’t know the Catholic’s position concerning human rights (homosexual rights inclusive)? In case you need to be reminded, they support it and they would rather at this time remain publicly mute and use their mouth piece the UN to champion their cause. Continue dreaming if you think that you can defeat the Catholic, USA, UN, BRITAIN and GRZ on their resolve to worship the devil through homosexual rights. Homosexuality is a sin just like any other sin such as beastuality, incest, insulting, idol worship, prostitution, adultery, fornication, hatred, coveteousnes and drunkeness just to mention but a few. Like all these immoralities, homosexuality can only be defeated at individual levels.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon says he knows that the Government of Zambia has formed a principled position in promoting and respecting the human rights of everybody, regardless of age, religion or sexual orientation, in line with the fundamental principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights to which Zambia is a party.Ban Ki-Moon made this revelation when he met president Michael Sata at State House on Sunday. According to press statement issued by Eimear McDermott of the UN Communications Group, Ban Ki- Moon added that human beings are born with equal rights and that he has been urging the world leaders of many countries, in particular those where people have been discriminated against, and even punished and criminalized, based on their sexual orientation, to form and uphold principled positions that protect the rights of all.Following his official visit to State House, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon made a statement to the press emphasizing that he was happy with the discussions and extremely impressed by the progress being made in Zambia in promoting democratic governance. He also commended Zambia’s progress towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), noting that the discussions with President Sata had touched on how the United Nations can continue to work together with the Government of the Republic of Zambia in realising the MDGs.

The Secretary-General added that he had invited President Sata to the Rio+20 Summit in June. The Summit will provide an important opportunity for world leaders to discuss sustainable development, climate change, water scarcity, food crisis, energy shortages, gender empowerment, and global health issues. The Zambia government has not yet responded to the statement by the UN on the rights of gays.

During the run up to the elections that brought the PF to power, the issue of gay rights became a hot issue. Famous journalists Chanda Chimba repeatedly explained that if the PF won, they would legalise homosexuality in Zambia because they have been sponsored to do so.Chimba was demonised and even sued. When British Prime Minister David Cameron said in November 2011 that British international aid will be tied to respect for gay rights, Zambia’s foreign Affairs minister Given Lubinda reacted sharply and told off Cameron.

But it was the same Given Lubinda who was escorting Ban Ki-Moon when he was promoting gay rights in Zambia.Lubinda has also not said anything probably because he knows his cabinet has since resolved to support rights of the game community.

People have a basic, ethical intuition that certain behaviors are wrong because they are unnatural. We perceive intuitively that the natural sex partner of a human is another human, not an animal.

The same reasoning applies to the case of homosexual behavior. The natural sex partner for a man is a woman, and the natural sex partner for a woman is a man. Thus, people have the corresponding intuition concerning homosexuality that they do about bestiality—that it is wrong because it is unnatural.

Natural law reasoning is the basis for almost all standard moral intuitions. For example, it is the dignity and value that each human being naturally possesses that makes the needless destruction of human life or infliction of physical and emotional pain immoral. This gives rise to a host of specific moral principles, such as the unacceptability of murder, kidnapping, mutilation, physical and emotional abuse, and so forth.

    Press Statement

    28th February, 2012

On behalf of the United Party for National Development (UPND), I demand that Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata gives the nation his and that of his PF party position on gay rights as advocated for by Ban Ki Moon – Secretary General of the United Nations.

The nation must not forget that Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata, not long ago said that, ‘there are laws in Zambia that recognise gay rights….’. It should also be borne in mind, that Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata has been a flip flopping President. He has changed positions on many national issues such as windfall tax, street vending, Barotseland Agreement just to mention a few.

It is Mr. Sata’s past statements, his flip flopping habit and his deafening silence on Ban Ki Moon’s statement that is worrying. We demand that Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata as the head of Government gives the nation his position on this matter.

The UPND believes that as an African and Christian nation, Zambia has no place for gay rights. The scriptures and our culture which are a guiding light in this country are clear on this matter. Further, our existing laws do not allow for this practice. It must also be remembered that as Africans, our culture which is protector of our morals does not permit this practice. UPND believes that for civility and national stability to continue in this nation gay rights must remain outlawed.

British High Commissioner James Thornton says the free choice of sexuality should be regarded as human rights.

And Mr Thornton says such rights needs to be respected by African countries including Zambia.

He says it is sad that in some African countries homosexuals and lesbians are not allowed to express their sexual rights.

He was answering questions from journalists soon after calling on Southern Province deputy permanent secretary Alfred Chiinda at his office in Livingstone.

But Mr Chiinda just said the PF government has put infrastructure development at the centre stage of the country’s national agenda.HZ

Ba Sata and Catholics rehearsed long time ago and agreed with UN to legalize gay rights and remove declaration of zambia as a christian nation from new constitution. That is why Sata deliberately could not include evangelicals on committe of experts. The pope supports gay rights so what do you expect of his priests? Sata has sold the nation to homosexual Westerners and the UN that is why he is dumbfounded since ban Ki Moon has already implicated him as an accomplice to bringing gay rights.general membership of the Catholic church are inocent but their leaders support gay rights.
