Prophet TB Joshua Says “The Death Of An African President Is Close Now”

Nigerian preacher TB Joshua of the Synagogue church says the death of an old African president is now very close.

Repeating his earlier prophecy that an old African president will die soon, Joshua hinted that the president will not be from West Africa.

He was speaking at his church in Nigeria on Sunday, April 1, 2012.

He said it was getting close and that it would be due to sickness. He did not name the person or the country or give an exact time-frame.

‘What I was saying is very close now, you want to hear more, and it’s very, very close now. Whether you like it or not, this is what I’ve seen. Pray for a leader; well, God showed me everything but I’m praying to see if this thing can be changed.
‘Pray for your leader, the head of a nation. I’m seeing a sudden death; this is as a result of sickness.
Quote me, but the Lord showed me the country and the person but I’m not here to mention anything but when it is very close I will mention but right now it’s a bit close.
‘Every time you pray, pray for Africa, so pray; this is not even in West Africa but I will not say anything more than that.”

PROPHET OF DOOM: Instead of warning people of their sins and need for repentance, here he goes prophesying someones death. TBJ repent or you’ll reap death when CHRIST Comes

please ready this. this is what the man of God TB.Joshua said.

    PROPHECY ABOUT AN AFRICAN LEADER
    by thetbjoshuafanclub

As stated earlier on February 9th 2012, we want to assert that Prophet T.B. Joshua did not mention any name of a person or country, date or time-frame when he prophesied about an African Head of State.

For the last two months, rumours have been spread, speculations have arisen and judgements have been wrongly formed on the internet, the pages of newspapers and in the minds of people.

On 5th February 2012, TB Joshua simply stated that:
“We should pray for one African head of state, president, against sickness that will likely take life. It is a sickness for a long time – being kept in the body for a long time. God showed me the country and the place but I’m not here to say anything like that. I am still praying to God to deliver the president concerned.”

He never mentioned 2 months or 60 days or April 16th or any other date as fabricated by those spreading rumours, neither was any name mentioned.

Then on 1st April, TB Joshua reiterated the prophecy saying:
“Last time I said we should pray for a leader of a country and you people gave different meanings to what I said and I want to say, God will forgive you all. I never mentioned name or time. You can never stop me from saying what God has put in my heart. What I’m saying is very close now. Whether you like it or not, pray for your leaders. The person concerned, God showed me but I’m praying to see whether this can be changed. Pray for your leaders. A head of a nation, I’m seeing a sudden death as a result of sickness. Pray, this is Africa, not even West Africa. Lift up your voice and pray for a leader, that the Lord should redeem our leaders in this continent of Africa. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray. I will continue to bring this issue, when it is too close, the name, the country. Pray for your country, your continent, the whole world. Prayer.”
These prophecies were given live on Emmanuel TV for all to witness. Please do not add to or subtract from the prophetic message. The prophecy was given so that we would give ourselves to prayer. TB Joshua did not state that the event was unchangeable, hence his call to prayer.

Psalm 105:15 – “Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do My prophets no harm.”

There is NO WAY you can force GOD to say what you want and not what he wants to say. Before anything happens God will always use his prophets to warn people. TB Joshua did not mention anyone’s name.

We seriously need to revisit our Bibles and understand who a Prophet of God is before we call anyone and everyone a Prophet. Look at the works of Prophet Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel etc you will realise that they were concerned with the bad behaviours of people at that time and came in to warn people and us today so that people change and choose God because we all belong to God. John The Baptist was crying out so that people could change and choose God. May I know or be given any quotation from the Bible which will show us Prophets of God predicting soccer matches, death of people, crashing of airlines just to mention but a few? In every prophecy the ultimate was to have God exalted and praised and people repenting from their wicked ways by choosing God. How many people repented from their wicked ways when Zambia won the Africa Cup, when a president dies, when an airline crashes? Come on people lets go back to the Bible and read it very carefully.

There are a lot of people who do not believe in god. When TB Joshua made the prophecy he was never asked by anyone to make the anouncement and has never said people should believe to his prophecy. However people started calling him a prophet of doom whereas he was telling you what god had shown him and he was warning you. I know most of the people are bogus prayers they only want to believe what when they are told what they think

@KAY, what you have said is so true. in biblical times, whatever the prophecy, it was for the people to be forewarned and God to be exalted, but what we are seeing these days is the exaltation of a man.

lets understand that TB Joshua doesnot predict matches but he tells it as it is.look at how he gave the prophesy about drogba missing a penalt, indicating the exact time when it will happen.do u say its predicting?the world has moved to such things as football and God uses his prophets through matches that the wise will know that indeed there is GOD through Jesus Christ.repentance will come only when people realise the existance of God.

Lets all believe what the prophet says and immediately we should pray on the any prophecy given. TB Joshua commented on the outcome of the finale African Cup of all nations. When he was explaining to us who watch Emmanuel TV we new it was Zambia and it came to pass. Now it the Malawian President It has come to pass. People of Zambia Learn to understand the word of God and listen to what the Man of God says.Psalm 105:15 – “Do not touch My anointed ones,& do My prophets no harm.”
God Bless who those follow the word of God.

Its funny how those who say they understand the bible sound like those who have never read it before. We do not need a prophet to tell you if you are sinning or not, that one is so obvious to you. God gave us prophets to tell us of SECRET THINGS to come,I still wonder why people want to limit God – but I know the devil is really at work!!!We accept changes in almost everything but expect the Word of God to be stuck in the BC and AD times, STOP FOOLING YOURSELVES PEOPLE!T. B Joshua is a prophet of today, the bible has said it – they will have ears but they will not hear, have eyes but not see and will spit on those sent by God! BEFORE YOU CAN IDENTIFY THE DEVIL IN ANOTHER PERSON, LOOK DEEP IN YOU AND FIND OUT IF ALL YOU THINK AND SAY IS CONCIEVED OF THE SWEET SPIRIT OF GOD!!!

I wonder if any of his prophecy has been wrong in the past and I wonder if he publicly acknowled these wrong prophecies or just moved on to the next one ?

    1 Corinthians 14:3
But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.

How can prophecy of someones death build up or comfort people.

I am sure that there will be onother one or two more african leaders that will die in the next few months ahead, does that make me a prophet ? NO!

I just know that there are other old leaders in africa who are sick – Its a no brainer !!

May I ask Kay whether we have stuff like soccer matches, crashing of airlines etc. In Bible times? You see, a prophets must respond to the events of his time. Mr. Kay also talked about TB Joshua prophesying about the death of people, what is wrong about this? Was it not by means of Prophecy that Hezekiah knew that he was going to die and asked God for additional years? People like Kay, who are like instruments in the hands of satan, just say things to confuse others? I advise Kay to hear from God before passing his judgement, and not other sources.
