Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika has died after doctors at Kamuzu Central Hospital failed to resuscitate him when he suffered a cardiac arrest earlier in the day

The 78-year-old President was taken to the hospital in the capital Thursday morning after he reportedly collapsed. “The President has died,” said a top government official who declined to be named. First Lady Callista and three of Mutharika’s four children were at the hospital with the President.

Others were his brother Peter and State House Chief of Staff Edward Sawerengera. Health Minister Jean Kalirani and Police chief Peter Mukhito were also there. The news will inevitably lead to speculation about Malawi’s political future but the Constitution says Vice President takes over until the next elections.

Wa Mutharika is a former World Bank official once heralded for his stewardship of a southern African country that is among the world’s poorest. In recent years, he has been accused of trampling on democratic rights. He first came to power in a 2004 election, and was overwhelmingly re-elected five years later.
In a statement on T.B Joshua’s blog and Emmanuel TV this week the prophet disowned the branch housed in Harare

TB Joshua

This past Sunday Nigerian ‘prophet’ Temitope Balogun Joshua (TB Joshua) repeated his February prophecy that “the death of an old African president” is imminent. T.B Joshua, who leads the Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan), announced that an African leader would die within 60 days.

“God loves us, you should pray for one African head of state, when I say President… again the sickness that is likely to take life; sudden death, it could be sickness being in the body for a long time but God showed me the country and the place but I’m not here to say anything like that,” Joshua said in February.

On Sunday Joshua narrowed down the location by excluding West Africa.

“What I was saying is very close now. You want to hear more, and it is very, very close now. Whether you like it or not, this is what I’ve seen. Pray for a leader. Well, God showed me everything but I’m praying to see if this thing can be changed,” Joshua said, adding he would “not say anything more than that.”

To understand prophecy, take time to read scriptures Deut18:20-21. When you are warned about something, its you to take a step. I wonder if any of the presidents prayed over the prophecy. Read the story of Jonah and the city of Niniveh then you will understand how prophecy works. For Mbingu, If he trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ; then he’s just fallen asleep if not its too late. And to the bloggers, at least you have this one last chance, use it wisely

Children of God, do not worry but pray for all unbelievers. In every situation God has something to say. God sends out warnings so that we are not caught unaware. love him or hate him, TB Joshua speaks the mind of God. We are used to pastors, evangelists. reverands and priests, but not Prophets. Unlike SDA’s whose prophet is Ellen G White, all of TB Joshua’s prophets have come to pass. He has a 100% success rate, to the glory of God. Emmanuel……

why prophecy without a solution or talking to the victim directly to warn him of the coming death so that he put the house in order? God knows when exactly each one is going to die ,but he will not just annouce your time without a purpose. What was the real purpose of foretelling the death of Wamutharika?

death does not mean anything to the dead neither does it pain them but to those remaining. therefore, its our time to reflect on our lives and make things right before God. remember this may be your last chance…

ALL OF YOU IN SUPPORT OF TB JOSHUA SHOULD BE VERY CAREFUL. AT TIMES ITS NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU HAVE READ THE BIBLE, ITS ABOUT MATURITY!!!!!TB JOSHUA IS NOT A MAN OF GOD. If you analyse carefully, you will find that his supporters are either NOT THE ORIGINAL BORN CHRISTIANS or BACKSLIDDEN CHRISTIANS or IMMATURE CHRITIANS. There is a very big gap between PENTECOSTALS/EVENGELICALS and CHARISMATICS. Thats why some people’s heads can not take it that BENNY HINN is a ROMAN CATHOLIC JESUIT PRIEST. Why wonder when the VATICAN authorises him to read the life history of Pope John Paul II at the funeral in 2005.

I WONDER WHY PENTECOSTALISM/EVANGELICAL IS THE ONLY DENOMINATION COUNTERFEITED!!!!

Just pray that God guides you to the true men of God and avoid false prophets. It does not mean that if a prediction, miracle, prophesy happens accordingly, then its from God. Even the devil has powers. Remember in the book of Exodus how Pharaoh’s men also turned their rods into snakes.

    Be careful nowadays.

Veep Joyce Banda has finally taken over the Malawi Presidency after the hard-core supporters of Late President tried to circumvent the constitution and install the late President’s young brother who was the Minister of Foreign Affair. Now the interesting question people in Malawi are asking is the title of the new President’s spouse. She is married and the husband is a well respected man with a legal profession background. Will the husband be called First Man or Gentleman? What role will he play in national affairs? Open a charity or something in those lines? Wow! Achimwene nkani yawama!

    Beware of false prophets !

Even satan can masquerade as an angel of light(2 Cor 11:14).

The only thing we have to do all of us is to truly repent and put our faith in Christ the only Saviour of humanity and not a sinful creature or “prophet.”

Dear friends we will all know the truth in the future about some of these prophecies. Prayerfully hold on to the true word of God and you will never go wrong

TBJ was following Mbingu’s health progress and then wants to come out like a prophet. Instead of reading the so called Bible, he follows economics and politics, and his followers take his sayings for prophecy.

Satan doesn’t have any good in him, the bible say he came to kill and destroy mankind, how can he help, healed anyone, is not his nature he doesn’t want anyone to have a good life, he just want to kill even his worshippers are getting destroyed in so many way, they are just ****** and blind if they think something good will come out of the devil, why do you think satan is targeting kids because they are easy to be tempted by worthless things, Do you guys believe satan has the power over me,The bible say I have authority over powers of darkness and principalities in high places, Jesus said I give the keys bind and loose, nothing will be imposible if you believe, You are giving satan too much credit, he might have powers but he is not above me, People spend time in the word and be filled with the Holy Spirit and you will have GOOD JUDGEMENT of who is the real man of God, I say to you people no true child of God will say stuff he know nothing of
