UPND members have accused their president, Hakainde Hichelema of keeping his family away because he has an Indian for a wife and colored kids. Sources within UPND told zambianstar.com that they want to know how a leader can keep his wife away even when need arises. They said they want him to imitate former president Rupiah Banda who walked openly with his wife, of his grandchildren’s age. “show us the family or no vote!”, they said.
Of course its an issue. Its an important issue. He wants to be president of our beautiful Zambia. We must know who he is, where he comes from, his qualifications, where he got his money from, his family and …………..the would be mama first lady.

HH is married to Mutinta, a very humble, Lenje woman who shys away from publicity. Those who have worked in companies where he has worked or served on the board of have met her at cocktails or company functions. She draws no attention to herself and is a devout christian. They have 3 very teenage children who seem quite exemplary in manners and general conduct. Im not an HH supporter or voter but lets keep it clean and normal people. Sorry I cannot stand by and let this madness continue guys regardless of my political affiliation. This is a non-issue.

This shows that there is some truth in the story. People are falling over each other defending HH. Some are saying the wife is Lenje others are saying she is Tonga.Whatever it is HH seems not to be proud of his wife.
