Nkoya Royal council have accused the MMD of hijacking BRE and the Litunga who they say was put on a K100 million Kwacha Salary per month. NRC Chairman Edwin Nkomesha also challenged MMD loosing candidate For Mongu central, Austin Liato to stop masquerading and be a proud Mbunda. He said the MMD supporting BRE were acting like headless chickens.
Nkomesha has since asked the lozis to dare his chiefdom and they will fight back. And speaking at Nkonya Indaba chiefs, kagombe of Kabompo, senior chief mwene mutondo, mwene kahare have vowed to work with president Sata’s government. Their members say they want Sata to act.

liato is a mu kwa makoma, a dialect of nyengo. his father was a teacher. he was transfered to kaoma a long time ago and they fused in with the mbunda there.
liato was mmost of the tike, not because he was seen as a mbunda, but as a man they loved.

Comming to think about this secesion I fail to understand the underlying reasons. Many have claimed lack of the development in the west as the main cause. Does it mean that all the other undeveloped areas are to secede also? Have the agitators of secesion seen other vast areas with no development at all in parts such as northern, luapula etc? If they havent let them move arround then appreciate that zambia is just another very poor country. The aim of such supposedly great minds should have been to find ways of fostering development in their country and western province in particular. Besides, lozis are part of the most educated people in the country, many of which have occupied very influencial posts in government past and present. What made/ makes them fail to take back development to thier areas without asking for special treatment? The so called announcer of the bnc resolutions was a senior official in the government.
