MILUPI ADVISES SATA TO STOP UNDRESSING MINISTERS IN PUBLIC
MILUPI says Sata’s treatment to his minister is a shame to the people of Zambia and the international community, these ministers are not his slaves but civil servants mandated to serve the people of Zambia by parliament.
He has advised President Sata to stop undressing the ministers in public saying they had families besides been in public office and they were not his small girls and boys.
He is diminishing the country’s picture to the international world out there. Many citizens are embarrassed by Sata’s continued attacks on his cabinet, it is unacceptable, I can never do that if I was president it is wrong.

I agree with Milupi hundred percent.What has come of Sata?The ministers are not his children.Surely they deserve some respect.Its okeay in indoor meetings but not in public.If it were not for poverty many would have resigned teir positions.

Ministers are not civil servants. They are are appointed at the pleasure of the President. You cannot have your cake and eat it. As Minister you MUST uphold ceremonial duty which is paramount in this case. It is the Permanent Secretary that upholds the civil service’s professional code. The Minister MUST be there at such crucial ceremonial turnouts such as presenting findings, and attending Presidential functions.

The way we blog sometimes does not taste well, the advise may be good but the way we bloggers but salt and sugar we worsen the situation, our president is also human he has feelings he can react to the way he is being insulted he may have weaknesses as well, but he is our president for the next four and half yrs, we need to help him advise him in a loving way like we advise our brother or our father, he is bound to make mistakes as a human being the advise we need to give him is that, he is now the president of a country not only Zambia but the whole international community what ever he does, what ever he speaks is heard by the whole world, all the presidents have advisors on how to run their countries that is why every ministry has a minister who should inform the president on what is going on in his/her ministry even the speeches need to be prepared by the ministry and given to the president in advance before the speech is made in public, before he address the people let him just go to the point and then crack some jokes with his mbuyas after he has addressed the meeting or etc that is within the country Zambia, when he is addressing a meeting outside Zambia no time for jokes let him go for a written document full stop.

Please somebody needed to talk up to the President.. the rest are just boot licking what kind of friends are you to the President. You can clearly see the perils that bedevil Zambians as a people. In any normal society, there could virtually be no justification for most of Sata’s public acrobatics. Chikwanda, Zulu and Malama are all public servants who have served this country well. They all have families and friends that hold them in high esteem and run big government institutions full of people who look upon them for guidance in making these institutions function for the betterment of the lives of all Zambians. Therefore, undressing them in public the Satan fashion is recipe for trouble. Sata should’t think that Zambia is a Bantustan like KwaZulu and he is the Chief Minister called Satasotho (Mangosuthu Butelezi style. Even if 99% of his cabinet is derived from Kolwestan, they are Zambian cabinet ministers and undressing them in public pali na bana shuwa embarrasses us all. Sooner than later, he will have a tussle with a minister in opublic, mark my word.

Frankly speaking,I think Millupi has a point! May be the President needs some advise on courtesy to other people even if he is the appointing authority.I now understand why Rupia Banda imported image builders because even when we want to support the president,it is discouraging to see him reprimand big pipo in public!

The only good thing about life is that what goes around comes around wait and see what happens in 2016. A leader will never be God neither will he be closer to God. I cannot imagine my father being disrespected in public or better still my husband.

Milupi is right and he is one of the few opposition leaders, apart from Brigadier General Miyanda, that I listen to when he speaks, because his statements are objective and balanced.
My only hope is that the President, or those who speak to him are listening and telling him people’s views. It is very simple, he must reduce his off-the cuff remarks, especially if they are intended to rebuke someone, it is not good.
After his off-the cuff remarks on the Barotse Commission of Enquiry and the reaction that it elicited, one could have thought he learnt a lesson.
Let the country benefit from President Sata’s extensive experience, any statement you make now is taken as Government policy and certainly belittling statements will not endear you t the public!
As for State Counsel Sebastian Zulu, take in in your stride but make your views known to him in privacy!!!!

If they are unhappy that you can talk on thier behalf, let them join you Milupi. MCS is an action man. no lip service. What do you expect the president to say if the chief cop is smiling while pipo are commiting treason? What do you expect the president to say, he calls a meeting, the Chairman appointed has deligated and gone away? Where the President speaks is not at Press conferences but in the offices where those officers need to hear what the action man says. If the info is picked by press, so be it. The way he speaks is the way he feels. Some of you want the President to smile even when he upset. Ukuseka finshi. Pali ifyakuseka apa?

He abuses tax payers money and fires anyone who gets in his way. He and Mr Nzoya (the deputy at the high commission here in Ottawa) have been stealing money to buy luxury cars for them selves in Ottawa;they travel around the globe for personal reasons then finance them through the mission.
They also have an office slut “Carolina Rodriguez” working for them and she abuses the Zambian mission’s money by offering her physical body to diplomats.

Politics of hunger. These guys will not quit. They will hold on to their little ministerial posts and take all the abuse. Most of them are only one salary or trip (per deims) away from abject poverty. On another point,I wonder why Sata did not hammer Kambwili as he is hammering the others!

i so much agree with Milupi. I we have all seen it in the last 7 months that our president has no tongue of respect, not even for his minister. The bottom line is that he has no idea about the ethos of being a president and because of his stubbon personality, he would probably not even listen to his advisors. He needs to be lectured or even attend some course on how to conduct one self as a president. I t would be such a shame for him not to win the next election because he did not know how to conduct himself as a president. This is so serious and i mean seriously serious and the most unfortunate thing is that we probably have not yet seen the worst.

Kalok, you have misfired. You have missed the iltreatment of Zulu when he presented his earlier report and then went on to fail to attend the second one possibly for fear of being insulted in public again. Zulu is also human. He is entitled to react. Milupi is right Kalok should learn to listen to all our national leaders, oposition or government, and judge their statements fairly.

I did not see this sure did the president do that? I can not believe this. And some people seem to support this nonsense? Anyway they may be birds of a feather. Zambia is sinking so low and it’s a pity, I cry for my Zambia. Folks do you remember one of the things that lead to our no turn around fight for freedom? was it not the dehumanizing treatment by the aba sungu who did not count a black man or woman to be human?
