Zambian Breweries has unveiled a K1.1 billion package for the 2012 edition of the Copa Coca-Cola Schools tournament.
During the launch Zambian Breweries Marketing Manager John Cochran said the company was targetting to make this year’s event even bigger.
“For this year, 2012, Coca-Cola has committed K1.1 billion towards the tournament,” Cochran said.
The tournament that spreads to all corners of Zambia will run from August 6 to 11 and will be held in Lusaka.
Eleven teams will slug it out with the winners pocketing K15 million while the runners up will get K10 million.
Last year’s winners Naboye High School will join each of the 10 representatives from the provinces.

firstly we need to improve pitches at hosting schools all over zambia,if the zambian game is to improve then we can talk prize money..because private schools like chengelo secondary school (my school)joined the competition but it was hard to compete on such soocer grounds

hey why lie 15 million for the first position and the rest for allowances which is not fair on the part of the children they must increase the mony atleast 500 000 000 for first position.
