I’m a seed inspector and know how quality means with regards to seed. In the same vein, our local transporters are a sorry sight. I can only count few bus transporters who offer good services. We need intercape to stiffen the competition. Go on complain. You are complaining for whose benefit? The passengers or your interest.

Business is not about crying. It is about facing challenges and living up to expectations of the customers who in this case are the travelling public. YES! if your services are poor, you drown. I do not think there is a law that prohibits Zambians from operating on the Dar Lsk route. Our transporters are not bold enuff to take on the route (there is Kitonga Hills!). Our transporters are not really public service operators at heart. Some made money from copper, others had relatives the Empowerment Commission and bought buses. Let real transporters like Mazhandu cry foul. Otherwise……

A few years ago, ZAMTEL said anyone found using VOIP (calls on Skype etc) would be arrested. I thought to myself “to hell with Zamtel” because the truth is, when the world changes, accept and change otherwise you will be another dinosaur. Re-engineer, innovate to keep up. Ichalo tacitalala ngamusunga mwe bana. Even FIFA has now accepted goal-line technology. I am sure with Intercape I will be able to buy my son a seasonal ticket, in advance and at a predetermined price, with a back up bus if one breaks down. HAPPY EARLY CHRISTMAS DADDY!
