Mayuka Strikes In Season Opener

Mayuka in action !

Chipolopolo striker Emmanuel Mayuka scored on the first day of the Swiss league as his side BSC Young Boys drew 1-all away to St Gallen on Sunday.

The prolific striker’s curler was delivered in the first half but his side was not good enough to collect maximum points settling for a draw after they conceded in the later stages of the match.

Mayuka, the Golden Boot winner at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, looks certain to build on his form that helped him propel Zambia to the first continental title in February.

His agent, Nir Karin, is delighted with Mayuka’s performance in the game. Karin also confirmed midfielder Justine Zulu’s move from Israel to Golden Arrows of South Africa.

Elsewhere, James Chamanga scored a brace in China as his side Dalian Shide overcame Dalian Aerbin 3-2 on Saturday.

What can we say? Zambian players are good when provided with a good playing enivorment and their dues settled on time. FAZ learn from this and pay the guys at national level hndsomely.

Congrats Mayuka and Chamanga. Keep the fire burning and the Zambian flag flying HIGH

Once under dogs, now shining, – in bemba we say, ukutangila tekufika – we are proud of you guys, my prayer has always been, dennis liwewe to witness the cup coming before anything happens, indeed it has been answered, am sure the taxi driver i booked during the wining match in January February remembers this.

was my cry, and am glad it has happened. ofcourse not
wishing anything to happen, but as life,
