Comedian Difikoti Gets Into Politics, Joins UPND

Comedians Difikoti and Bikiloni
Popular entertainer, comedian Thomas Sipalo alias DIFFIKOTI has joined politics and has joined the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND).

Sipalo popularly known by his stage name ‘professor Difikoti’ joined politics today (Friday) at the UPND headquarters.

Sipalo is from the comedy duo ‘Bkiloni and Difikoti’.

It seems partisan politics are taking their toll on clowns DIffikoti and Bikiloni.

The famous duo who took Zambian comedy to previously unimagined heights are said to be losing ground

Thomas Sipalo and Levy Ngoma’s times as the kings of comedy exciting times have passed on following the change of government from the Movement for multi-party democracy MMD to the patriotic front.

Prior to the elections the vernacular oriented comedians were engaged by the MMD to de campaign the current ruling party by ridiculing the inconsistent of the PF leadership.

Once regarded as the most paid local artists, Difkoti and Bikiloni are now

The comedians, once regarded as the most paid local artists, have lost the market as most corporate and government functions are being handled by Victor Chaushi famously known as KABOVA, leaving the famous BIKILONI AND DIFFIKOTI to settle for low budget functions.

It is becoming less common to see Difikoti and Bikiloni in many commercial adverts nowadays.

PF why the self righteousness? Whether such people are of low class in your scale, they are increasing he numbers in UPND! Continue this game at your own peril! Many people are now sympathizing with UPND and are just afraid of victimization by you guys who never have patience or tolerance in your approach. Your insults are just too much! It requires too much confidence to come in the open like this comedian.

In a democracy, even fools can rule because its numbers that matter! Wait and see. By the end of 4 years, you will work up to a rude shock! Insults wont help except results and tolerance can help PF!

Ba kozo who is insulting first of all, those charps were eating with the MMD and now they have seen that they can’t go to PF and say sorry, so the best way is to join the backward hajanza. if at all you are thinking that PF is losing people then you will be one of those that will cheat ichilema that you are wining , maybe in my home village Choma, but the fact is that he will not win. Yes he is a Tonga but that is noe the way that Tongas need to behave, the charp is selfish, tribal, liar, he is jealous nooooo! this is not what Mazoka wanted. Politics of cheating day in day out.
    Kozo forget.

@KOZO. Please read People First’s comment very slowly and see just how low some of our well known Zambian entertainers had stooped just for the love of money.

Just a point of order! Its DIFIKOTI and NOT bikiloni who has joined UPND. I hate the way some people misrepresent facts before they can even bring on their senseless arguments. *Fiola*

Why should pipo criminalise the youngman’s choice?I thought it was his constituional right !Please let us learn to understand arts and its role in our society.Artists are like traders who sell thier merchandise to the highest bidder hence the comedian was just doing his job.The only unfortunate part for him was backing the wrong bull in a heavily politicised and divergent view intoralant society.Am sure tht we shall outgrow this myopic attitude as we climb maslow’s hierachy of needs ladder. Then we will live and let other’s live too.

My advise to my party, lets try something else, coz politics has failed us. With the new members like bikiloni we can do well in comedy, so lets register our party as a NGO, comedy group e.t.c

Everyone is free to join politics,UPND is growing whilePF’s CNP stands still, the anticipated mass diffections from MMD and UPND to CNP is not happening.welcme cmrd difficot,in upnd everyone is free to join becos all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God

The number for upnd is not growing those are the pipo who already never voted for pf. In September ,they voted for upnd. The Diffikoti during the last election were not undesided voters, they had a aparty in mind and that prty was upnd.So they are not joing them now.their number is niether growing nor dwindling.PF is astrong party with a national character. You can combine mmd and upnd they cannot match with PF.
