No Warm-Up Match For Zambia Before Uganda Clash

The Football Association of Zambia says they are no plans for a friendly when Zambia setup camp in Johannesburg on October 6 before facing Uganda in Kampala on October 13.

Zambia will face Uganda away in a 2013 Africa Cup third round, second leg decider.

FAZ vice president Boniface Mwamelo told MTNFootball.com that Zambia will setup a three-day camp in Johannesburg en route to Uganda.

“The time frame is too short and we expect a full house on Monday (October 7),” Mwamelo said.

“The team is expected to train on Tuesday and Thursday and leave for Kampala on Thursday (October 11).”

Zambia enjoy a narrow 1-0 lead from the first leg played on September 8 in Ndola and need only a draw in Kampala to qualify for the Africa Cup.

Good luck Chipolopolo. But it is worrying that other sports are not supported. the Rugby Team which travelled to Morocco have cried faul for not paid allowances while there and even when they are here, still they could not be paid. How do you expect the growth and performance of other sports.
