NAREP Asks PF To Apologize For Cadres Behavior
The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has asked government and the patriotic front to unreservedly apologize to the nation over the behavior of the alleged PF cadres at the cathedral of the holy cross this morning.
UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema this morning survived an attack from suspected PF cadres at the funeral service for late Mama Betty Kaunda, which has since been postponed after her husband; Dr. Kenneth Kaunda fell ill and has since been admitted to the University Teaching Hospital.
NAREP secretary general Mike Muyawala says it is deeply shocking and worrying to see the alleged PF cadres throw insults and punches at their UPND counterparts at a time when the entire nation is mourning.
Mr. Muyawala says the behavior by the alleged PF cadres clearly shows a sign of lack of principles and morals.
He tells QFM that what happened this morning is a call to the PF government to set its house in order and prove that they are a government and party with a vision.
Mr. Muyawala says it the PF has any issues with the opposition UPND; they should sort them out somewhere else and not at the funeral of late mama Kaunda because she was never political and lived a quiet and peaceful life.

HH is bedmates with William Tekere Banda, Edwin Lifwekelo, Mumbi, the Mapatizya formula etc… you can name it. Tekere in opposition has guts to strangle someone, what about when in power? Let hardcore UPND cadres give me evidence that HH is not a violent peson because violence breeds violence. The people you associate with is the reflection of your character.
HH is a wrong person to lecture Zambia on peace. I would rather listen from Magande or Chipimo?

@Lee Jee:Are you colour blind or it is your B/w 7″ TV that gave you an optical illusion?Did you see any of those that were attacked wearig party regalia? Are you one of the violence advocates? Whether in party colors or not we condemn violence at the funeral gathering,let alone other social gatherings.

i think its time for the PF to move away from cadres,President Sata when in oppositions talked against cadring events, i know the people who acted like that are not PF cadres they are MMD cadres because that how MMD cadres used to behave under the outhority of william they dort distiguish between what is nomal,they were created and funded by politicians who think politics is by causing confusion in an event i will be glade oneday to see that such thugs are arrested President Sata said he does need women to parade themselves when recieving him i think he can tell this MMD die hard street adults who live on chibuku to stop and if any body within the party structure is funding this cadres it should be stopped or fired before we lose hope in the PF

PF Should learn from MMD on CADRES i Thought they can do it better we dort want to see a different MMD ruling in the name of PF where we just change the party but do the same things which MMD was doing as an intellectual i want to see cadres both opposition and ruling detached from government functions,President Sata can do it better and different before its too late we can allow the pictures seen in the media which we used to oppose during the MMD

Surely! Why should a funeral of the mother of the nation be a battle ground for political parties. Our politicians seem not to understand what democracy is.
