3 Nabbed In Connection With the Murder Of Thandiwe Longwe

POLICE in Lusaka have arrested three men in connection with the murder of Barclays Bank employee Thandiwe Longwe in Lusaka’s Ng’ombe almost two months ago. Police arrested the suspects on Monday night after trailing them through their mobile phone communication. Ms Longwe was killed on August 8 near her home.

Lusaka Province police commissioner Solomon Jere has identified the suspects as Mutambezi Nalubwani, 41, a security guard of Makeni, Steven Simule, 24, of Chawama and Spencer Soko, 33, of Kanyama, who have been charged with murder. “We have been investigating this matter and the suspects were traced and found through the mobile phone communication,” Dr Jere said. He said the suspects will appear in court soon.
