There are two main factors:
1. The poor playing surface, which impacted negatively on our style of play (which is why it pays to arrive in good time and have a feel of your match venue).
2. His own failure to combine his strikers correctly, when are you going to learn Mr?

1. My observation is that FAZ do not allocate adequate time to preparations before the game.
2. We are too over confident for any team that comes our way hence being reluctant .
3.I command that bad spirit to come out in Jesus name,so that we are serious with planning, adequate training to prepare for every game.

Cameroon 2-1 Cape Verde
FULL-TIME
Indeed it was too late for Cameroon, and they are out! An incredible achievement for Cape Verde who qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in their history with a 3-2 aggregate win. This is a MASSIVE shock.

christopher though i played football wit u right at chankwa n bufuke stad. before in mufulira/butondo .u r supposed to be in the right wing -7 and nt the current possition coz dat position needs a natural creative player maker likes felix, or clifford mulenga or saku to back up kalaba. There is need to create clear pieces for Mayuka. U r starving him man no goals thinking dat mayuka is finished kanshi ndiwe..remember the way Isaac chansa created pieces to enable mayuka score against Ghana at afcon..Chris note such strength needs to be in the wings to draw opponents attention while space is being created for the top man…i just wish chris and renard could read this and take advice.

Like Wanu Ngwee has alreasy mentioned the playing surface really disturbed our natural style of play,… short, crisp passes and individual brilliance. All in all, we did well technically.

Dismal performance by the African Champions in Kampala. Here are my analysis on the Uganda and Zambia game.
1. Formation of 4-5-1 did not help us at all, defending for what? I think the fox should have used a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation and then settle for the defensive 4-5-1 after scoring 1 or 2 goals.
2. Midfield flaws, Thomas Nyirenda or Francis Kasonde should have anchored the midfield and try to pull the strings in the the absence of maestro player maker Rainford Kalaba. The role for William Njobvu was to big for him and could not handle the pressure, this is not to say he is a bad player, but coming in as a sub might be better.
3. Defence, not so bad but i feel one or two guys should be on the stand by for next year’s cup in South Africa. Aaron Katebe is my number one contender.
4. Striking force. Mayuka could not handle those long balls and did not perform to the fans expectations. I still believe and insist that Jacob Mulenga should be our top striker and Jonas Sakuwaha should be given chance to start games. Fwayo Tembo is doing well in Romania and Given Singuluma and Rodger Kola should prove to us that they deserve to wear the Zambian jersey and perform. Our captain was out of form and should have be substituted. The national team should not just be for a few preserved players, lets spread the net wide and see who can perform for our national team, because the scoring rate for our team is not good.

When a player is not performing u shud take him off the pitch and put fresh legs. eg Chris katongo had no contribution in that game from start to finish. thats why we hav subs….Herv shud learn this…

The whole blame is on Renard’s inability to make good and timely substutions,a point which makes him a dull coach. The presence of Herve’s favoured captain in that match translates the whole episode into a crime agaist the Zambian soccer fans.

Ba Man U are always given penalties in almost all the games they have played this season, and they go on to win the matches. So a win is win.
Zambian has lost on penalties on several times why not win this time around.

football is not an easy game to play. can all of us commenting on this subjest play better? NO! qualifying is qualifying. it doesnt matter how you do it. the most important thing is being present at the january showpiece to defend our title.

please bring back clifford mulenga in the national team..forget the past and look to the future..fact is that cliiford is a great midfielder who can push the ball forward.
