Dear Editor,
We cannot deny the fact that the PF Govt is an all-inclusive Govt and looks outside itself. It seeks help from other political parties in running Govt. Indeed, PF is because of others. It is great element in governance to include other parties. We have seen appointments. Is PF promoting One Zambia One Nation? Are these appointments based on all-inclusive governance or on merit or is it a form of reimbursement or charming of favors? Is the appointment of Opposition Leadership something we need to assess? Is the PF aiming at swallowing other political parties with the umbrella of All-inclusive Govt?
What is really behind these appointments? Is it Donchi Kubeba…? What is it?
Will those appointed to position of authority retain their identity or will follow the axiom “Donchi challenge the hand that feed you?” Is Donchi Kubeba taking remaking itself? Will the opposition really remain opposition with these appointments we are seeing now?
Again, what is really behind these appointments? What are we not seeing? What are we seeing? Is it about political absorption of other? Is it about inclusivity? Is this about political demography? I strongly believe that these appointments are some kind of revelation of some things that we can’t identify now. Where are we heading?
I pose these questions to all my fellow Zambians not because I have seen evil than good in these appointments. Let us embrace the Good that the PF Govt has done, challenge where it has gone wrong, advice where there is need. Above all, we should be driven with the eye of seeing Good and providing checks and balances.
We need not to remain silent but praise the PF Govt and its “inclusivity” of other political parties. It is good. But I beseech the Opposition to continue providing checks-and-balances on the PF Govt. They should not be silenced because they are feeding from the same pot. The appointments should not be seen as PF’s Melting Pot of other Political Parties.

Mr MICHAEL THESE ARE PURE WAYS OF UNIFYING THE NATION THOUGH OTHER PIPO MAY THINK THE OPPOSITE.MR SATA IS COMPASSIONATE PERSON YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE APPONTMENTS OF WOMEN IN DICISION MAKING POSITIONS? HE IS A BRILIANT MAN WE HAVE.
too many questions. answer them yourself yama
NDELOLESHYAFYE
U ask 3 questions using 80 words & 3 paragraphs for the campaign you know? Tioko! It shall be seen by 2015 what these appointments stand for.
Those in favour of the appointments, hands up, mine are upward to widen the appointments to all provinces.
“But you are the so-called reporter, ask them. So-called reporter wasting tax-payers money.”
I have said it before and i will say it again, and again. PF = UNIP + MMD = ONE PARTY STATE, that’s what all these appointements are about and only a fool can fail to see this. Grow up!!
Mr sata is still in one party state, is it the experience we were told that mr sata is going to bring. CNP UKWA idiot
We would have reckoned that the people of Zambia, through the various constitutional commissions, have so much eliquently spoken about separation of powers among the legislature, the executive and the judiciary. Zambians have even gone further to stress and rub-in the fact that cabinet be appointed from outside Parliament. Why would then the head of state strive to row his boat backwards? Why does the PF leader want to compromise the independence of the legislature, against the substantive wishes of the masses – hunger for power? Why does he not simply want to share power with the local people across the expanse of this state – power?
