SATA Condemns Killing Of PF Cadre By MMD/UPND Thugs In Rufunsa

LUSAKA, Thursday, November 8, 2012 – His Excellency Mr Michael Chilufya Sata, President of the Republic of Zambia, is saddened by the death of Mr. Crispin Menyani Zulu, a member of the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) who was killed in Rufunsa today by a combined group of opposition UPND and MMD cadres.
The Head of State described the death of Mr. Zulu as disheartening.

“It’s tragic that the political violence by the opposition UPND and MMD, which we have been preaching against, has resulted in a loss of an innocent life. As a responsible government we have said time and again that life and property will not be secure if politicians continue preaching violence,” President Sata said.

“What has happened today could have been avoided if the two opposition political parties mentioned in this heinous crime had listened and at least cared for the lives of innocent citizens.”

President Sata has directed the Zambia Police Service to ensure that the culprits are brought to book.

“These murderous acts are unacceptable and the people responsible must face the full wrath of the law. I therefore, instruct the police to do their job professionally by making sure that the perpetrators of this serious crime are dealt with accordingly,” the President said.

GEORGE CHELLAH
SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT FOR PRESS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

We know that where ever UPND is there is violence. Look at Mufumbwe where UPND was not contesting there was peace. Now the UPND are happy that they have killed. What a party.

Its good to note that pipo are starting to believe that each time upnd participate in an election ‘it becames bloody’ eg. The Mapatizya blood bath, the Mufumbwe first blood part one, the list is endless.

The policce are supposed to investigate each killing without Sata directing them to do so.That is there JOB.

Now Sata has even passed a guilty verdict on MMD & UPND. How can the investigations be inpartital.

The PF Zambia Police already compromised here.

Lets wait for police investigations in the aforesaid murder case than making unsubstantiated attacks on anyone. It’s too premature to apportion blame any how.

President Sata has the talent for telling lies to mislead the nation. Why did a PRESIDENT who is backed up by profession Police and OP Officers rush to make an unfounded and misleading statement. BaSata is a well-known LIAR. We all know the truth that Zulu was killed by PF thugs.
