Police Arrest More Cadres In Possesion of Weapons
Police in Mufumbwe have arrested another suspected cadre for being in possession of offensive weapons.
The arrested cadre believed to be a member of the UPND joins ten MMD cadres who were arrested earlier for the similar offence.
North-Western Province Police Commissioner, Eugene Sibote confirmed the development when he paraded the opposition party cadres at Mufumbwe Police Station on Friday.
But one of the arrested cadres, MMD North Western Province Secretary, Emmanuel Chihili accused the police of double standards in their execution of duty.
He questioned Mr. Sibote as to why he was picked despite not having been physically engaged in any violent activity during the by election.
It was at this moment that Mr. Sibote curtailed Mr. Chihili and subsequently asked MMD’s National Youth Secretary, Tobias Kafumukache to identify who supplied him with the machete which was found in his possession, to which he responded by touching the MMD North Western province secretary.

By implication, Bwana Nevers Mumba knows about this. He was always talking about MMD being ready to defend themselves in case of provocation when the Police is there. What was making him say so? Impofu pakulanda ati nkekutoba ninshi naishiba epo iminine. And I would like to ask ba Tumfweko to moderate the comments that are passed here as some are just insults and discourages others to make valid contributions.
