Circumcision Is Not an Option For Safe Sex
THERE have been many of adverts inviting men to go for circumcision.
Chiefs have been involved so that as many people as possible respond to this cause.
I am made to believe that the main reason for that simple surgical operation is to reduce the level of HIV infections, thus the spread of HIV/AIDS.
There are countries where the foreskin is removed and the wounded skin is stitched to the flesh so that the tip of the male body remains exposed forever and eventually it changes its colour to the normal skin colour when it completes the healing process.
This exercise is done within a week or so of a child birth.
In those countries the main reason of circumcision has always been cleanliness and protection against some diseases.
I know with a lot of confidence that the only thing which changes slightly is the level of sensitivity because the flesh that is protected by the foreskin is likely to be extra sensitive; the rest will remain the same.
The other consideration is that because the flesh is no longer protected by the foreskin, the dead cells that will accumulate will be rejected and a rather dark skin will show.
There is no myth therefore on the issue of circumcision and this is not an alternative to safe sex, it just presents health benefits that are incidental.
Circumcision is a personal issue that cannot be connected to anything else or to a relationship.
I appeal to young men to go for it bearing in mind that scientists do not speak the same language on any one topic.
I prefer the circumcision of children within a week of them being born but I am afraid I will be accused of child abuse.

Circumcision help reduce contractin STIs up 60%…..it also reduces da transmission of HPV(human papilloma virus) which causes cervical cancer in women….

HPV has a high affinite for smegma (white stuff around the penis, or amanyami). continuos exposure to smegma is infact exposure to HPV which mutates to form cancer cells. circle is complex indeed but its true, for now!!

The evidence that circumcision has any effect on sexually transmitted diseases is contradictory. The 60% claim refers only to female-to-male transmission of HIV. One study suggests circumcising men INCREASES the risk to women. The HPV claim is very doubtful. Condoms strongly protect both partners.

Moses of the Bible and Jesus, son of God, were circumcised for religious reasons. In this era people get circumcised for a mutitude of reasons including satisfying the woman during copulation. It’s a good operation for whatever reason.

Jesus was also reportedly crucified. Many Christians see his first wound as being like his last, so that we need not be. Gal 5:2 is very clear that circumcision has no place in Christianity. Good studies have shown that circumcising men harms their ability “to satisfy women during copulation”.

1.Reduced sentivity hence longer sexual pleasure
2.Reduced chances of contracting STIs as the foreskin cells are most vulnerable to parasites and bacteria.

@ cosgyn.circumcision or uncircumcision does not matter.What matters is whether one has invited JESUS in their heart or not.If we have to follow everything in the old testament it will not help.If you have your own reasons,
go for it!It has nothing to do with chrisianity.It is jewish tradition!There are some non jews ,and zambians who practice this tradition.I have no problem with this.But do you know that in women circumcison is now a human rights issue!How about the so called male circumshit!
