Nigerian tycoon to sponsor Niger to AFCON
Nigerian tycoon Dahiru Mangal will fly a 540-strong Niger contingent to next year’s AFCON, officials have specially informed MTNFootball.com
Katsina-based major air transporter and businessman Mangal has agreed to make available one of his Boeing 747 planes to ferry Niger to and from South Africa.
“Mangal is a good friend of our President and he has graciously accepted to support Niger at the Nations Cup by providing us with a Boeing 747 plane that will take us to and from South Africa,” top Niger FA official Mohammed Sani told MTNFootball.com
“We will fuel the chartered aircraft, otherwise he would bear the other costs.
“This is a big assistance to Niger and we really appreciate it.
“His airline, Maxair, operates in Niger and he has several other business interests also in the country.”
This sponsorship is believed would save Niger at least about 50 million Naira.
Niger will be based in Port Elizabeth for the first round of matches. They are pitched against Ghana, Mali and DR Congo.
For their debut at the 2012 Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, Niger flew about 350 supporters.
Mangal rose to national prominence during the tenure of Late Umaru Musa Yar’adua as Nigeria President.

HH has already helped some schools in chisamba and some other parts of zambia,he has put up a borehole in kamanga.the man is also not publisizing his sponsorship of some orphans and other less privaleged people in our society.

There’s a guy(Katumba Mwanke) in Congo DR who has single handedly built a town,built houses and gave them out to the people for free with titles,connected them to power supply and pays the bills,water supply.Hope our zed tycoons can learn to share with the less priveledged folks.Do we even have any tycoons in zed because am not yet a tycoon

MTC, I cant blame you, get it in your head that Niger is an African country somewhere, am sure west Africa or North Africa. Not Nigeria, just how far have u been to school not to be able to master the african countries?? shame SATA’s followers can figure out how many countries we have in africa, another lesson to be taught, u are free to ask.
