Mulongoti To Form & Launch New Party In 2013

FORMER Works and Supply minister Mike Mulongoti has revealed that the formation and launch of his new party was set for 2013.
And Mulongoti says the party’s challenge would be the day of its launch as resources were required to successfully launch it.Mulongoti however said the party would not be owned by an individual but by its members so that no one felt intimidated.
“We don’t want a situation where a party is owned by Sata or Hakainde or Chipimo but members as owners of the party,” the seemingly jovial Mulongoti said.
Mulongoti said after the party’s launch, there would be an interim leader but eventually a convention shall be held to democratically elect leaders.
He said in a democratic set up, members should have an opportunity to elect leaders in the party.
“We want to go it the Obama way where ordinary citizens fund the party unlike where corrupt barons are bank rolling the party. That way you’re under pressure from the sponsor, we need integrity to prevail not having shoddy characters,” bragged Mulongoti.
Meanwhile Mulongoti said the party’s manifesto was ready but experts were still working on the constitution.

this man,zoona ni comedy.where in zambia did mlongoti win an election as member of parliament he wz owaz a chance in MMD now he thinks can manage a political party muleibwelamo.
Plz include a clause in our constitution which will limit the political tuntembas and save us this no sense.

i would like to say that what we need in politics now are people who are self less and not job seekers. what is happening in zambia at the moment is as a result of both the leadership and zambians lack of perspective of how the nation should be managed.
we like Americans are slowly loosing track and getting into guess work. we have moved from basic principles that govern human life.
we needed fathers who can father a people and not servants who are there to serve the people at certain tag price.
personally, i have seen a son or a daughter who has a well to do parents being worried of where the meal will come from or never seen parents who provide leadership to their children at a fee or parents who choose that they can only nature their children only if they were rich or holding a certain position in soceity.
i know that because of the culture that has covered or stripped off the entire intergrity of zambians, we think the short cuts work. short cuts infact pro-longs.
please zambians, the only way to really get the right leaders is to begain aquiring knowledge of what being a zambian is.
check around that most politicans work on our ignorance and poverty mind sets. please get me right when i say poverty, infact has a smaller percentage of money or material wealth but everything to do with ” understanding, knowledge & wisdom”
if you have knowledge of what is excepted of what leader should be, you will then by studying get the awareness ( knowlege )of leadership and finally apply ( wisdom ) the knowledege you aquired. But this depends on who is the source of the knowledge and how you value ( regard )you value your source.
i can assure you that time & wealth ( which are the result ) will not be wasted.
