Zambian Woman Betty Chileshe, Escapes from Malaysian Police Custody
Chileshe Betty has escaped !
Petaling Jaya OCPD Assistant Commissioner Arjunaidi Mohamed said the 37-year-old woman, identified as Betty Chilleshe, was to have been charged with drug offences when she escaped at about 11am on Tuesday.
“She managed to run while police personnel were removing her handcuffs. She ran from the first floor of the building into an awaiting car outside,” he said.
Chileshe was taken to the court from the PJ police headquarters in a police vehicle.
On arrival, the woman was ushered into the court compound with other suspects and their handcuffs were removed. Suddenly, Chilleshe, who was described as big sized, was reported to have dashed off towards the exit and escaped.
The woman was detained two weeks ago in Damansara for drug trafficking.
Expressing shock over the incident, ACP Arjunaidi said police would go all out to track down the suspect.
“Two police personnel who escorted the woman are now under investigations,” he said.
He urged those with information to contact Assistant t Superintendent t Lim Chee Khoon at 012-3151919.

I wonder why she escaped from the prison because she is digging her own grave,she is going nowhere and soon she will be caught.Foolish zambian woman!is that the business?u will be hanged to death once u are found.

what a shame. some women heh? she actually did not escape, she ran away from the policemen just after being set free of handcuffs. police saw her running to the exit.
I wouldnt call this an escape. You escape when no one is seeing you, well i think!!!

I doubt she is Zambian. Lots of people use Zambian passports to do their dirty business. She could be from anywhere in the world for all you know. Someone to do a file check and determine if picture corresponds with the files at passport office, NRC and births record.
