It’s Official Sunzu Is Heading to England Finally

Sunzu

Chipolopolo Boys defence kingpin Stopilla Sunzu will finally make his dream and long awaited move to England.
According to Zambian football website Zambianfootball.co.zm sources in Lubumbashi, Katanga Province Governor and TP Mazembe owner Moise Katunbi broke the news about the pending transfer of the 23 year old to England last week

“Yes, It’s true, the boss [Katumbi] told every one that Sunzu will be going to England that was the last game he has featured for the team,” a ZamFoot Crew insider said.

The name of the club though has been withheld.

The news of Sunzu heading to England will come as good news to the Chipolopolo faithful including national team coach Herve Renard who considers the Chililabombwe born elegant defender as arguably the most valuable member of his team.

Since his performance at the AFCON 2012, Sunzu has been linked with a host of European clubs but nothing materialized to the dismay of most fans who accused of TP Mazembe of holding back the player’s development and dream of playing in the English Premier League.

Now, it’s a matter of when but first Sunzu together with Rainford Kalaba and Renard will head to Accra, Ghana for the Glo-CAF Awards Gala before they connect to Dar el Saleem where Zambia will play Tanzania in an international friendly on December 22, 2012.

In this season of political scandals, shortages of necessities, uncertain futures, and all the hocus-pocus going on around me, I daresay this is the best news I have heard in a looooooooong time. Christmas might not be so bad after all. Congratulations young man. You make Zambia proud. And I know you wont let us down.

Ba Tumfweko this is what is called a half-baked story. Papers with editorial staff wouldn’t publish it. The reporter would be asked to get the name of the club b4 publishing
