UPND Accuses KK Of Behaving Like a PF Cadre

Mr.Chibwe says it is not healthy for Dr. Kaunda to start engaging himself in active politics.
Speaking in an interview with QFM News, Mr. Chibwe says if Dr. Kaunda wants to get back to active politics, he is free to do so but that he should first surrender his retirement house and stop receiving all the benefits of a former president.

Meanwhile, expelled MMD National Secretary Major Richard Kachingwe says the defection of MMD chairman for elections Gabriel Namulambe to the Patriotic Front is the beginning of mass defections from the party.
Major Kachingwe says Mr.Namulambe’s defection is the saddest development in the history of the MMD because he has been forced to defect due to the current poor leadership being exhibited in the former ruling party.
Speaking to QFM News in an interview, Major Kachingwe however stated that the move taken by Mr. Namulambe, although sad for the party, is right as it will send a strong signal to the National Executive Committee of the party that things are not right in the party.
Major Kachingwe says some members of NEC have been a letdown as they have chosen to become Dr. Nevers Mumba’s puppets.
He states that as long as the leadership of the MMD does not address its problems, it should brace itself for more defections.

The Zambian law on former heads of state with regard to active particpation in politics is clear. Get involved in active politics and loose your terminal benefits. Its that simple.

Great comment chichi.A real father will always support a child who is doing things well than someone who thinks is more wise than his father.Thus the reason why super KK is supporting SATA is that he has seen the man of action making this country a better country. So baby crying UPND stop crying and just found a father that can adopt your party and that step father can be recruiting members for your party as supper KK is doing on behalf of PF. Let me remind the last election in south Africa , ANC , Jacob Zuma the went and invited Nelson Mandela to come and speak on their rally and this was to garner support since mandela is well respected. So there is nothing wrong with KK doing what is doing and no one should think of stopping him from enjoying his retirement benefit.So UPND and BABY HH grow up and know how to win support.

I have never head Mandela behaving like Kaunda. Its better Kaunda to keep quiet and only provide advise which is beneficial to all Zambians and not only PF.

@H K,my friend jst to tell u the trueth u r totally wrong,how can b a founding father come out openly supporting PF?what u should know is that people r not against the idea of SATA getting some advice from K K ,what they r against is this behavior of coming out openly supporting nd encouraging people to join PF,KK is not suppose to b in any party coz we consider him as our founding father.

One needs to understand the genesis of independence in Zambia and its lineage of presidency to debut this issue. KK workd wth Mwanawasa,RB and yes now Sata….much as u may not believe,he did work wth kafupi much as thy were not best of frnds. Thr r certn issues tht go beyound politics tht actually hold ths natn…instd of pointng fingrs,i always ask pipo to research,ve th facts, dig deep. KK founded not jst a nation u call Zambia bt many othr thhngs tht r too much fr ur sensitive ears….th closeness u see is a mandate…pipo of my country Zambia,there r certain things you can not change by mere words….it takes dedicated prayer

I used to wounder as in to why Nelson Mandela is recognised worldwide and not KK. Now I see the reason why the world can not recognise bashikulu…………… Bashikulu be like Nelson, the man of the world. @umusambashi. Good observation & one thing which draws our country back is politics of hatred instead of development. Much as i appreciate the recieving of defectors by kk being wrong i feel the commentors have attached the old boss so much than neccesary i knw u r in opposition(chibwi) why do u miss direct ur priorities there are a lot of issues such mealie meal shortages, fuel n alcohol, load shedding roads ,health n schools thn looking @ the old man u cnt rule us if u cnt give us a way out of the troubled water we are passing now than insultin papa K u wil need him plz work hard n show us u r worthy a vote or else give Pf a break!!

But why always defecting to ruling parties? That’s the paradox. Why not NAREP, UPND, and others. Each time there is a defection, it is to a ruling party. ****** stomac politics.

I would like to nominate Eileen Hori, our Chair porsen of 4 years who has recently stepped down as she’s run out of preschool children to bring to our setting!Her dedication to Roundabout has been nothing short of phenomenal, playing a key role in ensuring our new build went ahead 3 years ago, in spite of lots of both porsenal and beaurocratic issues to deal with. Eileen never thinks of herself, always put everyone else first and has been so supportive to us all.She has such amazing, unerring energy, always giving yet never asks for anything.It would be wonderful if she could be considered for this gift just to let her know how dear she is to us and how much we appreciated her dedication to Roundabout.
