Nawakwi: MMD Defectors are Chancers & Aimless, When I Form Govt All Defectors Will Be Barred From Re-Contesting

Edith Nawakwi

Below is a Statement from opposition Forum for Democratic Development party president Edith Z. Nawakwi;

ALL THESE MMD DEFECTORS ARE CHANCERS WHO JOINED IN 2001. THEY WERE ADOPTED INTO A FAMILY (MMD) AND IMMEDIATELY A COPPER SPOON WAS SHOVELED INTO THEIR MOUTHS AND THEIR PERCEPTION OF LIFE IS THAT LUSAKA IS ZAMBIA AND ZAMBIA IS LUSAKA.

THESE AIMLESS MMD MPs SHOULD GO TO UTH ORTHORPEDIC DEPT. WHERE THEY WILL BE GREETED WITH ACCIDENT VICTIMS WHO HAVE BEEN ON OPERATION WAITING LIST FOR THE PAST YEAR AND DO NOT KNOW WHEN THE OPERATION WILL UNDERTAKEN AS THE DEPT HAS NO SURGICAL PROVISIONS SUCH AS NEEDLES, SWITCHERS, SCALPTORS AND OTHER LIFE SERVING SURGICAL PROVISION TO CARRY OUT LIFE SERVING OPERATIONS.

THESE POOR ZAMBIAN ACCIDENT VICTIMS WHO ARE EXCLUDED IN SHARING THE NATIONAL CAKE ARE BEING COMPELLED TO PAY WITH THEIR LIVES FOR THE USELESS EGO TRIPS OF MMD MISGUIDED MPs.

LET ME WARN YOU THAT THESE 300 ACCIDENT VICTIMS WHO HAVE BEEN AWAITING SURGERY AND DO NOT KNOW WHEN SWITCHERS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL SURGICAL PROVISIONS WILL ARRIVE IN UTH, ARE ALSO DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM. YOU CANNOT HAVE A HOSPITAL LIKE UTH, WITH NO URINE BAGS AND THINK THAT POLITICS IS ALL THIS COUNTRY MUST SURVIVE ON.

WHEN FDD IS IN OFFICE, DEFECTORS WILL BE BARRED FROM RE-CONTESTING ANT PARLIAMENTARY SEAT AND MONEY SERVED TO RECAPITALIZE UTH AND PURCHASE URINE BAGS AND SURGICAL PROVISIONS FOR THE ORTHOPEDIC DEPT.

TO THEIR LUCK NON OF THESE DEFECTORS FIND THEMSELVE AT THE ILL-EQUIPPED EMERGENCE WARD OF UTH. ABRAHAM IS EVERYBODY’S GRANDFATHER NOT JUST MMD MPs.

E.Z. NAWAKWI

Let us have a clause in the constitution that only allows bye elections to be held only when an MP or councillor dies or retires her/himself from parliamentary/civic duties. That way we shall cut down on political prostitution

Nawakwi you have a point. But you are just as bad as those silly defectors. You have been lobbying sata for a job.. Only HH and his MP are civilised..Better be in opposition 20 years and never compromised, one day God will reward you.

If I were in a party that threatens me for working with the government of the day even for genuine development issues, I ould also defect. Opposition, stop threatening your MPs for working with the G.O.D (Government Of the Day) and they well not go anywhere so fast.

The current Draft Constitution is right on! No MPs appontted into Executive. The proposal therein is that there shall be full separation of powers among the Execuive, Judiciary, and the Legislature. Only dedicated MPs will serve the Legislatuire – Cabinet from outside National assembly. Implication is that any MP who accepts Minisrial position ceases to be a legislator.

Politicians are reaally a major problem in this country. It is polictics of personal again. when these political leaders are not in the office the tell us nice stories of this nature but vote for them, only fellow old politicians will be in government. The situation in Hospitals have been like this for along time since MMD took power in 1991. Sometimes I personally feel bad when see patients going to chemistry looking for drugs.POLITICIANS PLEASE HELP US

I think the constitution should include a clause whereby if an MP like Namulambe who has defected to the PF because of hunger should be barred from contesting the same seat. Let him join the rank and file of PF and see if he is going to like. We are tired of seeing these wolves who have no heart for the poor pipo of Zambia.

you politicians are all alike (Its like you are born from the same parent): you just tell us what you think we want to hear and then once we vote for you, you grow big headed!

But good point there MAMA. Hope you really mean it. only wish you could be active with your OPPOSITION political life and not just arise during elections.

    PF NEEDS CHECKS AND BALANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a very BIG PROBLEM OF STEALING DRUGS in the Ministry of Health. Most of the drugs we buy from drug stores are actually from the Hospital.Health officers supply drugs to businessmen and record that the drugs have all been given to patients. There is no one and no way to make follow ups.It is worse in remote areas where ignorance is high and no drug stores.Patients are just told that ‘the government has not yet supplied drugs.’Children die of malaria.Beans, cooking oil,and soya are taken by hospital workers and consumed freely.

Defectors are traitors and have no blessings in Gods kingdom because they defect at the expense of the many suffering Zambia’s.If there act was anything to go by,let them just resign without re-contesting.Why re-contest when we have roads to mend, medicine to procure, school infrastructure to refurbish. So let such people rethink their actions. Its far too much and it just ruin their moral standing in society.

Actually the guys are doing all this with our eyes very wide open. It is the same guys who insulted Mr Sata when they were in MMD and they are the same people the Zambian president (Mr Sata) is saying they are free to join PF. I feel this is not democracy, it is propaganda. Any parliamentarian who relinguihes his position should not re-contest the same seat in a different party. Surely we are losing our wealth through by-elections.
