Jacob Mulenga took his goal tally to seven in the Dutch Eredivisie after scoring the third goal in FC Utrecht’s 3-1 win over Heerenveen on Sunday 12/16.
Mulenga has been in scintillating form for his club scoring in almost every game he has played after recocering from injury.
Leon de Kogel contributed a brace to help the keep their chase for a top four finish a reality.
Mulenga is expected to be part of Herve Renard’s team that will head to South Africa to defend the trophy.

Go Jacob Go. Ever since PF took over, things have changed. We are fairly competing with very powerful pipo out there. What has never happened in Zambia since it was born is now happening. I hope Jacob on form through Afcon. We need to retain the cup to prove to doubting thomases in the north and west of Africa that Zambias recent winning ways are not a fluke.
