NEW mosquito nets have been offloaded on the Zambian market and are said to be durable and can last for five years.
These nets are made of strong fabric that can last twice as many of the bed nets in Zambia.
Bestnet retail sales manager Nicolai Lund said in a statement issued in Lusaka yesterday that Netprotect bed nets are available in Zambia in decorative orange and green stripes, some of them with Chipolopolo labels.
Mr Lund said the new brightly coloured orange and green striped nets are available in variety of pharmacies and supermarkets in the country.
“This means that consumers can buy a mosquito bed net that is long lasting, strong, beautifully coloured and contains an insecticide to kill mosquitoes,” he said.
Mr Lund said the nets are ideal for people interested in displaying Zambian flag colours especially that the 2013 Africa Cup of nations is underway.

poor advertising skills! Colour is not the ultimate purpose for a mosquito net. actually white is beta coz it screams at the user when its time to be washed. perma-net has the same description and claims to be permanent! the insectiside lasts, equally for 5 yrs. stop lying pipo. talk about yo price also. ati AFCON… wat has it got to do with malaria prevention!

Stigma has said it all. You need to compete via prices not colours. Me i like white and nothing will change that.
