Another Taxi Driver Shot Dead

ELIZABETH-KANJELAA TAXI driver in Chililabombwe has been shot dead in yet another grisly murder of a public service vehicle driver.

The assailants went away with his Toyota Corolla as fear gripped other operators in the border town and surrounding areas.

Maybin Bwalya, 32, of Plot Number 3738 Kakoso Township, was killed in cold blood and dumped a few metres from his house in the early hours of yesterday.

He last spoke to his wife around 22:00 on Saturday as he went about his business in his green Toyota Corolla taxi that he used to operate at night.

Police sources said Mr Bwalya, who was an employee of Railcon operated the taxi during the night.

He was shot in the left side of the chest and his body was discovered in the morning.

Sad very sad indeed congolese at it again. Why kill an innocent man who is just suffering for his money mwebantu mulekwatako uluse nangu kulanda ati kwibe myotoka awe tefyo tachaba. God is watching you and then some one a murder in Chimbokaila should start crying ati the conditions are bad these people when theyare arresed must be killed even without trial as long as thre is evedence to say that they are the ones who killed a person that why when such idiots are arrested people take the law in their hands its so painful bring the culprits to book. May the soul our departed brother rest in peace if at all it will.

That is why I feel like breaking my own tv set when I see some people protecting murderers. Human rights they talk about, do they really know the meaning of Human Rights? What about the rights of the murdered? May he RIP.

There’s lawlessness in the country. You can not have such a big number of muder cases and you still keep the Police IG. Honestly madam Stella should step down. If she has no principles to resigne on her own…fire her

Zambia has really changed. These grisly killings are a result of influx of foreigners. Our iimmigration dept is too porous. U cant have a country with no strict laws on entry. How come suddenly we are killing one another. Its too unZambian. We have always been a peaceful nation so where have we gone wrong. I miss the Kaunda days; One Zambia One Nation. May God Deliver Us.

The problem is that even if one institutes rules to stop this theft and murder of cab drivers there will be an uprising of cab drivers.

    Cabs require the following:

    1. State registration
    2. State placement of tracking devices in all cabs
    3. State provision of roll cages and bullet proofing for the drivers cab.
    4. Sanctioning and encouraging of “shoot to kill” instructions and commands for all violent thieves.
    5. Execution of all people on death row and death sentences for all thieves.

Let’s just empty the jails by killing all these criminals. If we shoot enough of them people will be deterred. If chaps know the cars will be traced then it makes car theft foolish.

Just kill all these people that are found to have connections with these killings. others who are planning the same act will learn a lesson from that. Don’t feel sorry for them, just hang them to death

The judiciary is corrupt , they fix cases with these criminals and end up getting away from the law. Ba Kabimba watch the magistrates in Kabwe including judges they are so corrupt that inocent people are in jail because of case fixing .Transfer all of them we are tired of their corruption practices.
