Prophet T.B. Joshua of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations is known for his many prophecies on almost every aspect of life. Not a few will forget in a hurry his predictions on football matches involving the Super Eagles as many of such predictions have come to pass.
But what most people might not know is that the highly misunderstood Prophet has been a solid pillar behind the national team currently competing at the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
A Nigeria Football Federation top brass and Coordinator of the Super Eagles, Emmanuel Attah was full of praise for Prophet T.B. Joshua for what he described as “his wonderful role in the 2-1 defeat of Ivory Coast”.
It was learnt that shortly after the encounter, Attah sent out sms to The “Synagogue Man of God” thanking him for standing solidly behind the Eagles in the game against Ivory Coast.
“We’re very appreciative of him. He was wonderful and we can’t thank him enough,” an excited Attah said.
“T.B. Joshua was fervent in his prayers for the team. We did all that he asked us to do, starting from a day before the game. This is a special victory for the team and the nation and we cannot thank God enough,” he added.

Just what the hell did he predict? Was it that Abacha will foul Drogba and the Nigerians will walk off the pitch whinning as they always do and Hayatou then offers them a 2-1 win they never earned? Joshua is Nigerian scum of the worst order, and ordour. Wa Mutharika went there and told him doctors had given him 3 months to live and the lumpen all of a sudden claims god of Nigeria told him in a dream an African leader is dying soon. You bet his messengers have already told him Sata Zondwe is packing and very soon you will hear a doomsday prophesy in the Nabwalyan jungle!

NONSENSE! God or the bible have nothing to do with the sport, man. Look, the other team and this team struggle and cry with prayers to God for help to win the game so you want to tell me God would favor or pick one who love him much? Guess, two sons come to you for a favor, who do you choose one of them or would you divide the shares to them? I believe God is fair that He favors everyone as equal with blessing instead of choosing one as I treat my children equal unless one is betraying me that would be outcast.

Whom is he going to support and pray for in a fight between John Cena and Undertaker?
Honestly when did God start watching football? I think your god is on vacation and a big one because nothing can entertain him so he feels bored and resorts to watching football and other games.
If your religion is not giving you much better research and read about other teachings peradventure you may find something of some spiritual growth. You may think what you believe is the best but you found these teachings and without questioning you followed.Indeed you can get some satisfaction because even our ancestors were satisfied in those old teachings until they met other races with their new teachings they discarded the ancestral spiritual worship. Who knows whether we are also in just another delusion believing into somethings. Yes, we had miracles also in those ancestral worship. May be what matters is just faith and not the name you call upon.
Im tuning my TV to watch Esther Phiri. Need some prayer so that she can win the fight.Yes in football they also fight, havent you seen them? So which side is God?

Prophesy is about preaching the gospel with power and God gives being to his word. If you have a pastor who cannot foretell even results of simple events like soccer, ask him if truly he has the Spirit of God in him . how will help you to foresee calamities? The Spirit of God helps you to see what is ahead. Change the way you look at being Christ-like.

Early on, pastors were encouraging people to meditated on the word of God, to frequently get themselves in penitence.
Later, they moved into motivational speaking when they saw Motivational speakers make more money.
Today they have invaded the Kamuchape/Sangoma/Ng’anga territory. They are not only casting eveil spirits out of you, they are also putting curses on you. The same things that bad samgoma’s do. What is worse is, they say they are doing all that in the name of GOD. Interestingly, God is permitting them to. Sad indeed!

@Mbezi beach and Umuntuse; i are with your views. Lets be careful else we will just be taking the name of the Lord in vain. Football is a fight using feet on the ball. You cannot wish your opponent to win, just yourself to win and that doesnt look a christian principle. Its hard to go into serious prayers for a team to beat the other; just say may the better one win thats all. Those who are not tactiful enough, not strong enough, not well coordinated, selfish on the ball etc deserve to lose finish. Thse who have done their homework and are controlling the game using all the useful tacts their coach has taught them, those strong from rigorous training and disciplined to avoid red cards etc ought to win! plus of course abit of luck like your opponets making a bbooboo of a handball in the box etc. you win!

TB Joshua is not different from that Witchdoctor from Burkina Faso who is helping his Team win some Games. GOD is not for a particular team , but for human , why does GOD gorify himself in our business , like selling tomato or selling yams , or selling house or selling cars , this is biznesses dat human beings does , so when we come and see glory be to GOD when you have good income in our bizness , we glorify him bcoz he has blesses us in it , so if iam a footballer and i pray to GOD and ask him to make possible for my team to win a cup , and it happens , do u think its possible or not . iam asking you

hi , i am ivoirian , and i trust in the word of GOD , but what i want to ask u ppl , can u tell if GOD knows what will be the outcome of a football match or even a presidential election b4 the result is out ?? i think all of us here agree dat is YES, GOD knows , so what is the problem for GOD to reveal it to a man dat prays and ask him about the result then ,for instance when we pray for prosperity in our work or our success on earth , wat does GOD have to do with it then , if u think GOD is not interested in football , bcoz for me its the same thing . when we want to speak on GOD matters we need to refer to his word : matt 18:18 says ( I assure you: Whatever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is already loosed in heaven.) and also John 15:7 ( If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.)

when GOD answered prayers in a certain part of the life , like football , criket , ect…. , it will encourage ppl dat watched and know dat we prayed to GOD almighty for dat result , for them to come to GOD and bow down b4 HIM , and worship HIM too..

Of what benefit is it to God that super eagles win the match.Would he even waste his precious time to answer prayers of football?God rejoices when one sinner repents not when one team of footballers win another there is no heavenly benefit at all.Its all in the name of appeasing ourselves here on earth.Pray to God to forgive sin not to win matches

You guys wat has zambia done. Is it wrong for anyone to beat any team and go on and become a winner no. Zambia won the cup it has passed South Africa, Nigeria , Cameroon , Egypt and so on has lifted it . Why zambia we leave in peace and peace shall we leave
