PF has no regard for rule of law – HH

Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema says the summoning of former republican president Rupiah Banda for questioning only proves that the ruling Patriotic Front has no regard for the rule of law.

Mr. Hichilema says it is funny how the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) can go ahead and serve Mr. Banda with a writ of summon when it is fully aware that he is protected by the law.

Speaking to QFM, Mr. Hichilema has accused the PF of having brought nothing but distraction of the rule of law to the country.

He states that the summoning of Mr. Banda can never be explained because he still enjoys his immunity.

Mr. Hichilema states that the PF government should stop exhibiting desperation and concentrate on more important national issues that need urgent attention.

    Spot on Mr. Hichilema.
U’re very good at pointing at the negativities of the ruling PF but I’ve never heard u point out any PF positivity.

It is because there are no positives PF has scored. Can you just imagine the following:
      1. High mealie meal prices
      2. Increased misfortunes such as accidents and killings such as the Ruth Mbandu case.
      3. PF thugs beating up people attending a UPND rally.
      4. Selective fight against corruption where GBM and Wynter kabimba are free yet facing allegations of corruption.
      5. Abuse of the public order act.
      6. abrogating the republican constitution by Sata through the appointment of Lombe Chibesakunda his auntie as Chief Justice and taking the name to Parliament when the constitution does not allow.
The list is endless. Just tell me how possible it is for HH to see any positive amidst all these negatives. Sata never saw any positive in Mwanawasa even when the economy was improving and the Kwacha was appreciating in value and people had more buying power. He also never saw anything good in RB even when RB had to allow Dora Siliya to step down when it was time to have her investigated. Please don’t blame HH blame UKWA!!

There is very little to praise Govt for things they are required to do, and for which they were elected to perform. It is their duty to deliver! All that Hakainde may be requested to do is to offer alternative solutions to failures by the governing regime.

Kadansa is now even jumping up and down. This clown!!

The former President enjoys immunity from prosecution. No one is placing any charges on RB yet. He was being called so that he can assist with investigations only because there are many pipo hiding in the former president’s immunity.

But, why can’t the ACC quietly make appointment to visit the Fourth Republican President at his Office to seek his assistance on certain matters, rather than being disrespectiful and confrontational.I am sure the Former President’s office’s doors and, indeed, windows are open for National service!

HH does not enjoy any immunity, why is he not prosecuted for any misdemeanours or felonies he has committed, if at all? The man is simply talented and an achiever! Go on HH. Zambia needs to share your success.

You are right by saying PF should concetrate on more important issues but you are just doing the same here, ignoring more critical issues and go for petty things that you can not even substatiate.Tell us about how you are going to improve the raod net works to prevent future accidents, stop your mapatizya formular to avoid violent elections, how are you going to handle the mines in which you played a bigger role in giving them out at ridiculous prices. You politicians are just the same,so just up ka HH.

Yes! They claim that leedership is God given. So, they can rightly be blamed for all calamities. Remember when there in good rain and there is a bamper harvest, they claim to be very productive, even for farmers who do not get inputs from Govt?
