SAD: Attackers Hack Off The Hand Of 7-Year-Old Albino Boy For witchcraft

The body parts of albinos are coveted on Tanzanian black market where they are believed to have mystical properties.
The latest attack on an albino child saw his arm hacked off by a violent gang of attackers.

A 7-year-old albino boy from Tanzania had his hand hacked off by attackers collecting body parts for witchcraft, according to authorities.

Mwigulu Magessa was attacked by a gang of three men as he walked home with friends on Saturday.

The trio pinned the terrified boy down onto the floor and used a machete to chop off his hand.

Apolinary Macheta, local government leader in Tanzania’s southwestern Milepa district, said, “The boy was attacked by three people as he walked home with his four school friends.”

He added that he was taken to hospital, where he is now recovering.

The vicious assault is the latest in a long line of attacks on albinos – whose body parts are believed to act as charms bringing good fortune and prosperity.

Some of those body parts can fetch thousands of dollars on the black market.

Last week a mother-of-four had her arm chopped off by a gang of five who left the rotting limb hidden in a field.

And last month a boy died in the Tabora region in a similar attack where his arm was completely severed from his body.

we in Zambia should also be carefull with people who slaughter chickens in public rallies and spray blood on people. These same people are the one that cut off heads. Zambians wake up!!!!!!!
