Sata Tells HH: Tell Commonwealth The Source of Your Riches Or Is It ‘Juju’?

Republican President Michael Sata says it is unjustifiable for the country to continue facing the challenge of unemployment when it is blessed with abundant natural resources.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony of deputy ministers and diplomats at State house this morning, President Sata said it is very unfortunately that Zambians are not feeling the positive impact of the country’s 48-years of independence due to the failure by leaders to deliver to the people that put them in office.

President Sata has since ordered the parliamentarians to visit their constituencies and ensure that issues that affect the people are addressed.

He has also instructed Zambian Diplomats to market the country effectively to potential investors, who are not only interested in the country’s copper but are also ready to invest in other economic sectors.

Those swore-in include Kanchibiya Member of Parliament Davis Mwango as deputy minister in the office of the vice president and Mpika Parliamentarian Mwimba Malama as deputy minister of transport, communication, works and supply.

Others sworn-in are Eva Funda Funda as Ambassador to China and Miles Banda as Ambassador to Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sata says the invitation of the Commonwealth by the opposition to probe his government’s alleged human rights violations will be an opportunity for opposition UPND leaders Hakainde Hichilema to explain to the Commonwealth the source of his wealth.

Hard work! Period. If it wasn’t hard work, Mwanawasa would have arrested me with Chiluba. I have never even been subjected to interogation by any anti-corruption agency. You with your Nchito would have arrested me within 90 days, fulfilling at least one of your 90 days promises.

Why do we hate rich people, so everyone with money has stolen my leg. In the compound if you have a small Toyota corolla and drink tea with milk everyday you are a Satanist. If you are a politician and do not belong to the ruling party and have some money it is corruption because in this country you cant have money unless it is stolen. What a country.

Zambians can be primitive at times. Clearly there is no case against HH otherwise he would have been charged years ago. This is just PF trying to charge the man in the public eye with no concrete proof, sadly the gullible fools among us have fallen for this cheap move.

KA HH???????????What do you mean hard work?Even a criminal can say that.A criminal can say that he is rich because he worked hard. But the question is how and hard work in what? is it Stealing?Fraud?Money laundering?Percunery advantage?Kick backs?Corruption?Illegal dealings ie in germ stones, drugs etc.The point is how did you become so rich?If someone is very good in crime or any of the things i have mentioned above such that he/her transactions are not traced, does not mean he/she is a clean man/woman in his/her dealings. So just tell the nations that you raised your riches by doing this and that….thats all.

Please do not set up another task force which gobbled the tax payers money which would have been used to build two/three general hospitals equivalent to UTH which could have been serving the Zambian people.

This now is a triviality. Mr President, we are talking about human rights in Zambia for now. We are not talking about where an individual’s riches come from. That is a subject for another day. Do not divert attention to non issues for now to confuse Zambians. Try to do the right thing for once. Zambia has become a laughing stoke in the region, if not in the world.

Let PF tell us if HH stole, if he didn’t then these have nothing to show nor tell us.Please PF come up with real issues than persecuting hardworking Zambians just because they have opposing views.

Am disappointed in the so called President,he is bahaving like a cadre. He has failed to deliver to the people, now he wants to find escapegoats.
HH worked for his money,He is a business minded person. If you want him to fund the government the way BIll Gates does in the USA,just request from him in good faith and in a good way,not by accusing him.
These people in government today think that they will be in government forever.ACC has even cleared Kibimba and GBM of thier corruption charges. What a corrupt government we have.
No matter how long it will take,PF will pay for its mischives.
What is wrong with us Zambians? We can`t do things right. Is it bacause of our past leaders we have had or what?
Ba Sata,HH worked for his money. Is it a crime to be rich? You are leaving your friends abena GBM na Kabimba who have serious cases to answer, you go after an innocent man(HH) just because he is you opponent in the political arena?
    Please, twapapata,mulekeni umwaiche..

I can’t believe the amount of ignorance on this forum. If the president had even a shred of proof that HH acquired his money fraudulently, HH would not be a free man today. We all know the amount of hate our president has for him. IF this was such a negative revelation made by the president, it would have been on the front page and editorial of the Post Newspaper, but am sure even The Post (HH haters) were to embarrassed to publish such foolishness.
